First time using Siraya and also 85A
Opened the package, windings looked good. Threw it on the printer and got a couple of flawless parts. Used the Bambu 90A profile, with a couple small adjustments and the standard .2 layer height profile. No issues, printed great. 85A is a huge difference in flexibility and softness versus the standard 95A, of course, but perfect for gaskets and protectors.

Best performing 85A TPU I've tried
I previously printed with Ninjaflex TPU, but at $90 a roll currently I knew I needed to try something different. There aren't many cheap options for 85A TPU in 1.75. I decided to try this in my Bambu Labs X1C. 95A is too plasticy for my application so I avoid it. At first it wasn't doing well, but I eventually found their suggested method on their website and now it prints much cleaner than Ninjaflex. I will say Ninjaflex had a more grippy softer rubber feel, but this one still does the job for me and the consistent print quality makes it worth it. When using an X1C you CANNOT use the AMS with TPU, it's just not stiff enough. I used to feed my Ninjaflex from a Sunlu dryer/storage unit. That was fine but it didn't cut it with the Siraya. As their instructions say: Feed from external spool holder (my Sunlu dryer/box with rolloers is fine) Do not use a PTFE tube Feed directly into the top of the X1C to the extruder - again no PTFE tube! I printed some small wedges that keep the back half of my top glass cracked about 1/4" and it allows me to keep the AMS on top as well.

once you dial in the settings, this is perfect for gaskets and seals, love this stuff.

Printed just fine for me.
Since I got the 85A, it was hard to print with my Anycubic Kobra S1. It’ll do but you’ll need to make a jig for it since friction gets the best of it in the filament tube. But, it prints at amazing quality and is pretty darn squishy! I would highly recommend. Thanks!

Wow! I'm blown away
Most TPU filament is shore 95A. I was looking for something softer and decided to give this a shot. My initial impression didn't start off well as the cardboard spool it came on was really beat up. I run TPU out of a Sunlu dryer which has rollers. So when the spool is almost a square, it's less than ideal, especially with stretchy TPU. The box wasn't damaged, so the beat up spool is an issue with their manufacturing facility, not shipping. I didn't have very high hopes after seeing the spool. Boy, was I wrong. This stuff prints amazingly well. I ran a Benchy on my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon. It looked amazing. The 95A TPU I was previously using looks good, but this stuff is another level, which is surprising since it should be harder to printer being more flexible. The Benchy with this TPU rivals the quality of a PLA print. It is nearly flawless. It looks gorgeous. And it's considerably more flexible than 95A TPU. I'm not easily impressed and this stuff blew my socks off. EDIT: I had several print failures but it was due to the really bad cardboard spool. I had to respool it onto a Bambu Labs plastic spool. I wonder how many people that are saying they are having printing issues with this are running into this issue where the wonky carboard spool either doesn't rotate well or the filament gets stuck between the side of the spool.

Prints well on Bambu P1S
Printed successfully on Bambu P1S. Don't get me wrong, a lot of settings need to be adjusted and accounted for, but this 85a TPU is really great.

Pleased with the results, but definitely takes a specific setup!
Just to keep things basic, I ran 3mm/s³ @ 230c. It started out fine but ~20 layers up I was seeing kinda crazy underextrusion. Canceled the part, thought 'why?'. I print 95A all the time, but this came out so bad I could pull it apart with the slightest effort. Apparently even though my spool could readily spin. It was still too much resistance, switching things up and getting a bearing-based spindle holder made all the difference in the world even though it made the entry to my bowden tube less than ideal. Just the act of getting this stuff off the spool is enough elastic-stretch, to totally bugger things up. Other reviewers are NOT exaggerating. It already complies easily, and is slick, so the moment your direct-drive causes it to stretch, it gets thinner between the extruder gears, so suddenly it almost completely loses grip and the ability to feed further. Kinda wild we are printing with rubber-spaghetti in the first place, tbh.

Worst TPU ever
Worst TPU we have tried. Even after drying it for over 40 hours, it ended up spaghetting and clogging our bamboo P2S. There are a better filaments out there. It’s also horribly wound and way too stretchy, so difficult to feed reliably. Because of the need for long drying, we ended up being four days outside the return window by the time we got around to printing with this junk. Not happy.

Good filament but...
The filament itself is great, but it was a terrible idea to put such a difficult to feed filament on a cardboard spool. My spool was very minorly damaged, so the filament wasn't feeding properly from my Creality Space Pi drier, so I had to reload it onto a spare plastic spool I had.

Very soft, won't print on just any machine but very nice filament!
This is very soft TPU, ideal for stuff like rubber seals and rc car tyres. It is smooth and shiny and has an impressive amount of strength. It can be stretched quite a lot, you have to work quite hard to tear it so I feel that it could be a long lasting material for seals and tyres etc. A word of caution - this will not work in all machines. Its so soft that to get it to feed into the extruder I had to bypass the Bowden tube altogether as it creates too much friction. On my Creality K1 Max I can remove the top so I fed it directly into the extruder and left the top off of the machine. You then have to release the tension on the filament as it enters the extruder or it will crush the filament and jam up before it even enters. If you have anything other than a direct drive extruder forget it. You just can't push this stuff through Bowden tube it physically won't go. Dual extruder is a MASSIVE advantage. If you have the ability to extrude both this and PETG/PLA at the same time then youre laughing. Use the PETG/PLA for the support structure and print the object on top of that. Printing a support structure made of this TPU and then the model on top won't work, you won't get the two apart without a fight I promise you. All that aside it is really good filament so ill be ordering this again in the future.

Siraya Tech Flex TPU 85A : Un TPU 85A exceptionnel ! Je suis extrêmement satisfait de ce filament Siraya Tech Flex TPU 85A. C'est un excellent choix pour quiconque cherche un matériau à la fois souple et résistant. Qualité d'impression et Compatibilité Le niveau de flexibilité (dureté 85A) est parfait pour des pièces nécessitant une bonne élasticité sans être trop "mou" à l'impression. J'ai obtenu de très bons résultats en l'utilisant sur mon imprimante Creality K1 Max. Il s'imprime étonnamment bien, même à une vitesse de 30 mm/s pour le remplissage, avec une adhérence entre les couches remarquable et des impressions propres et fiables. C'est un excellent point pour un filament flexible ! Conseil d'utilisation : L'importance du séchage Un point crucial à noter pour réussir vos impressions : ce TPU, comme beaucoup de flexibles, est très sensible à l'humidité. Il est impératif de s'assurer que le filament est parfaitement sec avant et pendant l'utilisation. J'ai dû le passer au sèche-filament pour obtenir des performances optimales. Si le filament n'est pas sec, vous risquez d'avoir des bulles, des défauts de surface et une mauvaise extrusion. Une fois sec, il s'imprime à merveille. Verdict C'est un TPU que je recommande vivement, en particulier aux utilisateurs d'imprimantes rapides comme la K1 Max, à condition de faire très attention à son séchage. La qualité Siraya Tech est au rendez-vous. C'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour des pièces techniques ou des prototypes souples !

Smooth TPU
Best TPU hands down. Prints with excellent consistency and the feel of the finished prints is excellent. Recommend going a bithotter thanthe 230 on the roll, sticks well to a warm bed. 10/10 will buy again

Einfach TPU drucken
Lässt sich hervorragend mit dem Anycubic Kobra S1 Max drucken. Im Slicer Next sollte man das Standardprofil vom TPU 95A anpassen, dass 85A trocknen und direkt in den Extruder führen. So bekommt man mit diesem Filament saubere und funktionale Ergebnisse. Absolute Empfehlung.
