This cooling knee wrap worked great for a month, roughly using it 3x each week for knee swelling due to arthritis or following a knee injection. Unfortunately almost a month from delivery date, it burst spewing blue gel beads everywhere. This is not typical of previously purchased items from Amazon or Brookstone. It appears this ice pack is defective or poorly made.

When this freezes it's one hard rock. Cannot bend or conform to your body. You have to wait until it's warm to use it which defeats the purpose. Also the strap that velcro behind you knee is not very long so it is strapped very tightly behind the knee. I was excited to get this. Looked like it would be great. Sadly it is not.

Fantastic quality knee wrap. You can use it hot or cold. When it is frozen it slowly thaws nicely without any wet mess or dripping. The velcro strap fits nice and secure and allows you to adjust to whatever size you’d like. I recommend it!

The Brookstone therapy knee wrap is reusable with hot or cold therapy to help reduce knee swelling. The wrap is very comfortable to wear with a soft fabric lining on the interior, plus velco strapping to fit properly and stay in place. The wrap can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. Typical warm uses "relax pain or discomfort' where cold uses "reduce pain or irritation". The directions give specific timing instructions for various levels of microwave ovens when heating the silica beaded wrap. Chilled instructions recommend at least two hours in the freezer or refrigerator. This wrap is one of the best I've come across!

The package says "fits most"...if your joint is less than 17 inches circumference, yes, otherwise no. I'm of average build and the barely elastic bands will only give you at most an additional half inch. My knee circumference is 19"The bands are supposed to be attached to the bean bag via double stitching which was correctly done on one side and only a single row of stitching on the other and unraveling at that (see images).

The Brookstone therapeutic knee wrap is very easy to use. It is very comfortable to wear and the velcro straps help it stay in place. I have tried several different knee braces, patches, wraps for knee pain and this is honestly the best one I have tried. The fact that it can be used hot or cold and is mess free truly sets this knee wrap apart from the rest. This knee wrap is very effective at reducing my knee pain.

Had knee surgery was great at first, could use it when moving around . It fell apart after a month or so the beads inside were coming out of the corners in the fold of plastic !!
