How do i prevent my broccoli seeds from growing mold? i've tried citric acid, dark closet, rinsing throughout the day, etc. details please. thx

Without knowing more details, it's likely that you are not getting the seeds/sprouts dry enough to prevent mold. Make sure that you spin the seeds/sprouts until nearly all water is expelled: You should have seeds/sprouts that are all but dry.

Don't wash it in a dishwasher. All you need to do is simply remove all the sprouts, their roots and any left over seed coats, and give it a rinse with water, then fill it with water and put in a small amount of bleach to sterilize it, let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse it out several times again, and it is ready to be used again. No soap. Soap might inhibit the seeds from sprouting.

I'm having trouble knowing how to use this as the directions are not very clear. I'm trying to sprout fenugreek seeds. Where do the seeds go?

Hmmm. The directions, I thought, were pretty clear. It's been a while since I used mine for broccoli sprouts.... but your seeds will stay in the inner container (after the rinsing and shaking process) for proper aeration, humidity and moisture. And that's where they'll begin sprouting.
