I really love these Spatone Iron sachets. I have been taking these on and off for over 3 years as I do suffer with low iron. I currently take 2 a day as my daily intake should be 18mg - these sachets provide 5mg per sachet and are suitable for children over 2 years of age, pregnancy/post natal, peri menopause. Can be used by women or men. The sachet itself is handy for on the go and hardy for handbags - as the sachet is quite durable -no leaks etc. The tab is easily rip-able and easy to drink ( suck from) without drips etc. I like the taste of these ones as they taste a little bit like sharp apple juice/apple cider vinegar - may be a bit of an acquired taste, if you really don’t like it you can always add the sachet to a glass of orange or apple juice -but the sachet itself is certainly not a horrible taste, unlike some iron supplements I have tried in the past! - they are also good if you can’t tolerate tablets. I like that this particular choice has added vitamin C which is needed to absorb iron. I prefer these sachets over iron tablets as they are much gentler on the stomach and I don’t get or have any side effects when taking these. In my opinion I do feel like these work within a few days - I can feel the difference when I have taken as to not taken. Going forward with this product I hope they bring more flavours and more iron rich products - perhaps some kind of wellness drink would be a good idea?? I was happy with the price for this product I got 42 sachets for £23.50 which is a fair price - I don’t think I would pay more though as Boots /Holland & Barrett often have this item on 3 for 2 offers In all I really like this brand and this product and will continue to buy. Top Tip: I keep in the fridge as I find they taste better cold

Excellent product, pleasant to the taste and easily absorbed. My iron levels doubled in no time taking Spatone. No side effects as experienced with traditional iron tablets.

I suffer with iron deficiency and these have been a godsend. I felt really tired with 0 energy whilst visiting a friend and she pulled this product out of the drawer and promised it would help. I felt better within an hour. Since then I’ve been buying these regularly and when I remember to take them, they seem to work! I love that it is a sachet - you can take them easily with no water needed, unlike iron tablets. The original has a funny taste but I enjoy the flavour of these ones! Will continue to purchase as they work for me.

The after taste isn't great but I have noticed a difference in my energy levels, sleep pattern and I get dizzy less when I am standing up now which is nice! I do recommend!

Easy to swallow and quite nice

Ich habe ein wenig Eisenmangel, daher wollte ich ein Eisenpräparat. Zuerst habe ich irgendeine Art Eisentablette aus der Drogerie gekauft. Die habe ich aber gar nicht vertragen. Mir wurden davon irgendwie übel. Eines der Werbeversprechen von Spatone ist ja, dass es gut zum Magen sein soll, deswegen habe ich es mir bestellt. Ich habe tatsächlich nicht mehr wirklich mit Übelkeit zu tun damit. Woran das liegt, weiß ich nicht genau, vielleicht daran, dass es eben flüssig ist und nicht in Tablettenform. Die Wirkung scheint ok zu sein, zumindest hat sich mein Arzt nicht mehr darüber beschwert. Zumindest für mich hat es also funktioniert. Was mich persönlich etwas stört ist der Geschmack. Eisen schmeckt nunmal nach Eisen. Mir kommt da immer die Assoziation mit Blut. Der Geschmack ist also echt nicht gut. Zwar haben sie ja hier Apfelaroma dazugegeben, wahrscheinlich gerade, um diesen Blutgeschmack zu übertönen, nur leider funktioniert es nicht ganz so gut. Es schmeckt zwar nach Apfel, aber gleichzeitig eindeutig nach Eisen. Ich mische einen Beutel daher immer mit einem großen Glas Saft. Auch da schmeckt man es noch ein bisschen raus, aber es ist erträglicher. Inhaltsstoffe (stehen auf Englisch auf der Packung, habe sie übersetzt): Spatone flüssiges Eisennahrungsergänzungsmittel (100% natürliches eisenreiches Wasser), Apfelkonzentrat (100% aus natürlicher Quelle), Vitamin C (Ascorbinsäure), Konservierungsmittel (Kaliumsorbat) Da die Vorteile hier eindeutig überwiegen 5 sterne und klare Kaufempfehlung!

Nehme die schon länger ein und bin von der Wirkung sehr begeistert..allein mit der Ernährung habe ich nicht meinen Bedarf decken können. Habe innerhalb von acht Wochen mein Blutwert verdoppeln können.(Eisenspeicherwert)
