Hoypeyfiy Carburetor with 2 Gaskets, Compatible with Subaru Robin EX13 EX17 EX17D SP17 SP170 Small Engines, Replaces 277-62301-30 277-62301-50

Purchased this to replace the carburetor on a 15 year old log splitter with a Subaru SP170 motor. Fit was perfect. Pulled starter 3 or 4 times with the ignition off to get oil moving, turned on ignition, and motor fired on the first pull. It was worth every penny.

All I can say is wow. My Rigid power washer with the Subaru SP-170 engine would not start after sitting a while. It has been getting progressively worse each time I used it, harder to start, and needing to run on almost full choke. I tried to take the old carb off and clean it up for over an hour and it would not run at all other than for a second on starter fluid/fuel down the carb throat. This carb showed up, I installed it, and it literally started on the first pull. I ran it hard for a full gas tank power washing a house and hardly let up on the trigger all day, and it did not skip one beat. I use stabilizer in my gas but it still must have past its life and went bad and gummed up the old carb. THIS carburetor is a quick easy fix, I wish I didn't even bother trying to clean up the old one. If this lasts for a few years and I need to replace it again for around $20 I will have gotten my money's worth from it. For the SP-170 Subaru engine this is highly recommended. I'll try to update this review in the far future as I pull it out seasonally.

Bought for my Generac power washer that had a seized emulsion tube in the carb. Always weary of aftermarket carbs rather than fixing the factory- but this one worked great out the box no tuning needed.

Used as a direct swap out with the carb on my Subaru mini bike engine. Started up first pull.

Replace a carb on a Rigid SP170. Old carb went "whoop whoop spluuughh." OEM carb was expensive. I replaced it with this one for 20 bucks and was impressed. Started on the 1st pull and went "waaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!" Easy install. Gaskets....so this one, like others reviewers...came with 3 gaskets. I only needed the green one pictured in the photo description...and that's the only one they didn't send. They did include 5 gasket instead of 3. I took a razor blade and made a couple of cuts and was able to use an included gasket. All in all, I'm happy. I recommend it! Delivery...1 day late. Amazon delivery person handed it to me while I was in my drive. Didn't ask who I was, just walked up and handed it to me and walked away. Order updated with "handed to customer, signature obtained" or something similar. Great...but that was a lie because I didnt sign for it. Received a delivery the next day, I was in the driveway again. Amazon pulled up, asked me my name and then asked me to sign. He stated if he left it at the door, a picture would suffice. If he handed directly to me, a signature would be required. I signed and got the same Amazon notification thst I signed for it. While this seems like no big deal...the previous Amazon driver stated she obtained a signature when in fact she did not. Had she handed my package to a stranger who then stole it..it would have been difficult to get that corrected, if at all. To simply put it..do your job Amazon. Shortcuts are screw-ups.

Great value replacement carburetor for a generator with a Subaru Robin engine. Seems to be designed better than the OEM carburetor that had very tiny idle jets that seemed to plug up easily where the engine would not run properly unless the choke was partially closed. Even after taking the OEM carburetor apart and cleaning it the problem started again after running the generator a couple of times. Even running the generator dry between each use did not seem to prevent the plugging issues.

The 3rd one of these I have ordered for my shop. Lucky I could saved the original gasket but have had to make new ones in the past. Gasket is not right. The one for the rear is but not the front one. Carb works. Gaskets are only 50% right.

I have a Subaru snowblower with an SX17 motor. The carb for that was a little over 100.00 !! I saw this carb for the EX17 for 19.00 and thought why not try it. It is a spot on perfect match!! It also came with 2 additional black gaskets that matched my snow blower perfectly. 2 pulls and it fired right up with no surge. The quality of this carb was as good as the Misumi carb that came on blower from the factory. Honestly at 19.00 I’m not sure how they make money. HAPPY HERE!!

Good option to get an old motor running properly. Easy to install. Started and ran great on third pull with no setting adjustments.

The order came in very quickly which was nice. Looks exactly like my old carb, so pretty much a OEM part for my Subaru Robin EX21. The gaskets were not exactly the same as the old ones in my case, but can probably be modified to fit. They are made of stiff plastic material. I used my own gas resistant gasket paper and cut parts identical to the old gaskets. I changed the gas line and the spark plug as well. The motor started on my first pull. Feels like a brand new machine.
