This review is for the EcoTools Wooden Body Massager.This is a very simple massage tool, but it's helpful in its simplicity. When I'm trying to massage myself, or if my partner and I are trying to massage each other, our hands can get tired. Using this tool, it's a lot easier to switch up hand positions while still providing a nice pressure.While this is a simple tool, it actually has a variety of different edges and points to use. The bottom concave curve fits nicely against legs and arms. The upper convex curve works well on long sweeps on the back. And the two rounded corners are helpful for applying pressure to specific points.Overall, a nice lil massage tool!

I get neck and shoulder pain from sitting at a desk all day. I do lots of stretching and have a foam roller and some other tools to help counteract it but they don’t reach all the areas that I have tightness.The size and unique shape of this tool makes it surprisingly effective at reaching those hard to get spots! I appreciate that it’s made of hard material because it’s really effective at getting out stubborn knots. I keep it on my desk so it’s handy any time I start to get a stiff neck.

This massager tool is fine, mine however had a slight chip in the wood so having that against your skin isn’t comfortable, but I’m sure I just received a rare manufacturing error. I’ve tried tools like this in the past and used correctly it helps get out any tight knots you have in your muscle, so I’d recommend with the mindset to check it before using to make sure yours is nice and smooth!

My husband and I both enjoy a nice massage and have several massage implements that we rotate through. This looked very different from anything else we have so I was curious to try it.Massager is very lightweight and fits easily in the hand. I will say it is a bit awkward to hold for extended periods of time due to its slim profile and I find some of the other massagers we have more comfortable to hold.The massaging feeling itself is a bit mixed. Both my husband and I enjoyed this on our arms and legs with long smooth strokes. Neither of us enjoyed it on our back and it's a bit awkward of a shape to use on shoulders or feet.So overall, we will keep it in rotation as a massaging implement for arms and legs but it's definitely not my favorite implement nor the most comfortable to use.

A simple piece of wood that can be used for different massage areas, including scar tissue breakdown. It's lightweight, easy to use, to clean, to handle, and to store.

I find the simplicity of this massager really appealing. It's pretty big, solid and lightweight. I love that it's ecofriendly, as it's made of bamboo. The negative being because it's all bamboo, that the surface is porous and will be covered with bacteria, skin cells, lotion and/or oils that you use. It's easy to clean to the naked eye but disinfecting it would be a challenge. I want to also point out that EcoTools refers to this as a wood massager, and bamboo is not wood.

This arrived from the vendor in a shrink wrapped branded cardboard backed package, totally undamaged.I really appreciate when personal care products are tamper evident sealed like this one.Easy enough to get out of its secure packaging, and then it is a very nice quality wood instrument. The built in opening seems perfectly designed to hold the tool & the curved size that you apply on the body is well suited for the human form.This isn’t heavy, but it’s big enough that you can exert good pressure when you want to & exert hardly any force for when you don’t.Your imagination is the limit here, because it goes just about anyplace you need it to: around the neck, around the torso, around your arms. Then most especially it works with massage oils or lotions, & it’s delightful going around your legs, thighs, even your stomach.Your partner can enjoy giving you a massage because with this simple tool, it’s not intimidating or in need of charging, batteries, cords, or attachments.A great couple’s enjoyment toy, but you can also manage a lot of self care with this device as well.So far, it looks pretty unscathed after use, & so I think it may last a long time.Great item & great experiences, low maintenance, works with other products well, easy to clean up, doesn’t need a lot of storage space.

The overall size of this body massager is nice. It's slightly curved so it glides easily over calves and thighs. However, it's the equivalent to rubbing someone with the spine of a book or another smooth household object. There's no actual "massage" quality to it, like rollers or nubs.
