My factory camera was working sporadically most of the time it did work it would just flicker. A few times the picture was reversed. I replaced the cable inside the tailgate and that did nothing to help. I also separated all the plugs I could find and cleaned each. Still nothing. Took a chance when this went on a flash deal and it works great. The zoom even works. My original camera didn't have the lines but they don't really bother me. I have a 2011 F150 harley-davidson edition. If you haven't replaced the chrome mounting piece for the oval and the camera, you'll have to break off the factory one. I had to do that when I replaced the cable. The new style factory mount will allow you to pull the oval off and put it back on without breaking anything. Next onto the backup sensors on the bumper. Both the camera and the sensors being out made me think something was wrong with the harness that went to the back. Now I'll try to replace the sensors and see if I can get them working.

I purchased the camera on 18 September 2023 and it did not survive a generally mild Virginia winter. About 10 days ago (around the third week of Jan '23), we had several days of weather in the low 20's, dipping to 17 and 19 degrees F. The camera became "glitchy" for a few days; displaying distorted views including purple and green hues. A few days later, it was completely blurred, and finally, it went black. Initially, I wasn't very satisfied with the angle of the camera (it seemed too low), but I was going to deal with that, however, now that the thing has failed, I think it fair to mention that as well. The OEM camera gave a better overall view.

This backup camera works better than the factory installed on that came with my Ford F-150.Clear, bright and even has a line for hooking up to my trailer hitch. Highly recommended it!

Met my expectations, camera has a clear view, and the range is very wide angled. Price is really good for this product. The Lines are present for backing capability. A Green warning rectangle lights up followed by Yellow rectangle and then Red rectangle for the closest object when you are backing. I would suggest to anyone for a very good back-up camera. Would give it five stars but the camera maybe just a little too wide angled. However, I would purchase again.

The backup camera went out in a friend of mine 2014 Honda Accord. I purchased this camera and installed it three months ago. It's still working as expected.

Camera quality is fine. Didn’t have to adjust my parking sensors on my F150.And the bad part…it fills with water when I wash the truck or get a heavy rain. Water bubble sloshes back and forth u til it dries.

Better than the factory camera on my Edge. Great clear wide angle view.

There is only 1 way to install the camera and center line does not line up. I used the line to line up trailers. Will be sending it back.
