Le Sauce & CO Classic Green Peppercorn - 2 Serving Size

Lovely on grilled steak. Rich, peppery but not overpowering. Very nice.

I absolutely love getting a good peppercorn sauce with my steaks in a great steakhouse (like Morton's), and was looking for something to easily prepare at home on nights when a quick grill-out after work was all we have the energy for. We threw some steaks on the grill and I heated up a package of Le Sauce Green Peppercorn Sauce in the microwave as directed. As soon as I took it out I knew it was not going to be what I expected. It was a separated, oily mess with a terrible smell, but I stirred it back together and gave it a taste. Nothing like peppercorn sauce-very artificial and pungent flavors that I really couldn't put my finger on, but certainly not like any peppercorn sauce I've ever been served before or made. Sadly an expensive mistake. EDIT: Seller contacted and offered a refund/replacement, will upgrade to 3 stars based on customer service.

Easy and handy

This sauce turns a bland baked chicken breast into a really nice, flavorful meal. It's on the spicy side because of the peppercorns but they really make the sauce, This is not a low calorie sauce, but worth the occasional treat!
