Amazing!!!!!
Ok so I'm running a custome alienware 15.6in r3. I have several cooling pads that have cost me over $100 that do not give me the cooling power that this pad gives. I just got done running a game called ESO and did 3 dungeons and 4 PVP matches and my internal temperature was damn near idle. 150% recommend this cooling pad for intense gamers that CP systems get hot. I am in shock that my cp is this cold after 2 hours of play. I have only had it for a day but in love with it already. Just wish it was smaller for transport but I can bare that.

I wanted to love it
This is the exact laptop cooler that I want. The vent direction, it's reversable, it uses squirrel cage fans instead of those 10" "push no air" fans most coolers have... but it has one glaring problem, the noise. On the lowest settings, it makes a pulsing grinding sound after running for 10 seconds. On the highest settings it REALLY moves the air, but at the cost of sounding like vaccum cleaner is next to you. I can tolerate the noise on the highest setting, I half expect that. But on the low settings, having a grinding sound is just intolerable. I'm returning to find a traditional designed cooler that I can leave running during normal and high use.Pros:- Fan Design (YES!)- LED can be turned on or off- Has 2 USB ports (1 is used, but at least you don't loose a port)- Has speed controlsCons:- Bulky (very thick and much larger than my 15.6 inch gaming laptop)- Noise (Fans are loud and disruptive or grinding and pulsing)- LED (there are bright and dark spots on the LED rail, not a big deal but could be done better)

Great concept, badly implemented
Here are my issues. I have a 15r4, which is rear exhaust, it also happens to have a bunch of cables that stick out of the back such as power and display cables. This means that the huge bump on the back of the cooler puts a lot of pressure on the cables, bending them and making the laptop much less stable. Also, the bearings in the fans are low quality, so there is a grinding noise at low speeds before the sound of the fans overpower it at higher speeds. That said, it does provide excellent cooling for rear exhaust laptops, would recommend hugely if you don't have rear facing ports, would recommend cautiously if you do.

for a stationary application it's the best cool pad I've used yet
Used in conjunction with an Alienware 17, for a stationary application it's the best cool pad I've used yet.and offer superior performance to cool pads the blow up from the bottom. If you've got space for an extra laptop in your bag - it'd be viable portable solution as well (unfortunately I personally don't have any extra space in my laptop bag as I carry 2 laptops). To be completely honest - I thought there would be more air pushed from the fans, because that's what I'm used to from previous experience with other cool pads, but the proof is in the cooling - this designs real strength appears to be that it doesn't "recycle" hot air at all. Even while gaming, the Alienware 17 hasn't gotten warm to the touch. I'll be purchasing this product again.

Cheap not worth the price
Didn't seem to hold my ASUS GL702VS well. The fans sounded like gravel rolling around and not quiet even at the lowest setting. Cheap plastic base and the USB cord and controls felt really cheap. If it was under $10 maybe worth. As I was boxing it back up to return it I noticed it was full of moths in the fan. I believe this was a used unit sold as New.

What I like the most about this cooler is you can face ...
Exactly what I have been wanting for my 17" Alienware. My laptop is a lot cooler than before, even during intense gaming. What I like the most about this cooler is you can face it the opposite direction depending on where your vents are underneath. Thank you!

Worth it
This thing isn't small; it's thick and sits high on a desk but, instead of most blowers just pushing air up from the bottom, this actually directs air at an angle which is a "why haven't they been doing this before" thing. My Alienware 13r3 loves to cook itself (and burn my legs in the process) but this feeds air to the under-fans while moving heat away from the metal bottom case efficiently. It does sit tall, but I will easily take that slight abnormality to the extreme heat dissipation.Well done, Bujian.
