This is a healthier and tasty alternative to sour candy because of its real fruit content. Level 3 is a bit TOO sour for my taste, so I'll be sampling Level 2. Overall, a cute idea and great snack.

I heard having something sour can temporarily alleviate anxiety by distracting you. I wanted to see if it'd work so I started with Warheads. I'd say for me, Warheads provide a little jolt but not to the extent that it made my face pucker, contort, or twitch. I found that the sourness actually wore off quickly and I was left with a sweet treat and a little disappointment. In my journey to find the right sour treat I found Final Boss. I bought the Level 3 Strawberry flavor; the gummies are indeed sticky to touch, but they had a nice chew! I'd say less chewy than a traditional gummy bear but still quite satisfying in its own way. They're a lot less sour than Warheads, but actually I really enjoyed it as a snack. It had great strawberry flavor mingled with a little bit of tartness, almost reminiscent of an unripe strawberry (but better tasting than that of course). I don't think these have the shock level I was looking for but I'll try a higher level and maybe that'll work. But I will enjoy these as snacks :)

I was iffy about this—super sour MANGO??—but both the mango and strawberry are really good. Seriously sour (but of course I like that), while still retaining the taste of the fruit. Because they are real fruit! That's huge, for me. These are actually diabetic-friendly. Also, they are sour from start to finish. They don't turn sickly sweet halfway through. Be aware that they are thickly coated in something gooey and sticky which will end up all over your fingers. My daughter said she liked the taste but they're "too sticky." Oh well, if I *have* to keep the whole bag for myself ... go ahead, twist my arm.I was even impressed by the size of the bag. It really is a lot for the money. They are a bit pricey but worth it.

I bought the multi-pack Level 1 (strawberries, blueberries, and cranberries), and enjoyed the product. I truly only enjoy the strawberries, which seems to be the general consensus on Reddit, so I purchased this 10 -pack and enjoyed every moment of it! When I was close to running out, I ordered more, and from there my experience with the product and Final Boss took a sour turn.In the first photo you’ll see what I received with my second order. They were massive chunks, very few of them, slimy, not sour, and poor quality assurance. I immediately spat them out. In the second photo you’ll see what I received on my first order, which is also the product and photos used on Amazon and Final Boss’ website. That’s what I purchased. That’s what I expected to get. I most certainly did not.At this point, Amazon would not issue a replacement due to it being a food item (understandable), so I went to the manufacturer (who is also the seller on Amazon) thinking that they would handle the gross misrepresentation of the product.The response back was troubling. They said (paraphrasing), [Yeah, we went to a new supplier, we knew they were back and switched back nearly immediately, your next order should be better, here’s a few bucks off. ]. This was disconcerting, so I figured I’d reply again making it very clear that I enjoy the product and simply wanted a replacement for not receiving what I ordered, what was in the photos, and what was advertised. Again, the response was sub-par, again paraphrasing [Thanks for the feedback, we are trying to get it fixed, today’s climate and imports is our reason why.]. No offer for help or replacement. The most concerning of all was that these responses were not from customer service, but instead their co-founder.These products certainly are not cheap. ~$30 for 10 packs and more for larger quantities. It makes it hard to predict and trust whether or not you’re getting the advertised product or a “supplier issue”. I will not be purchasing this product, or from this company, again and will instead be sourcing my sour needs elsewhere.

My only negative thing to say I will start out with - the candy itself is not dry, it’s sticky. This is because it’s not just hard sugar candy itself actual dehydrated fruit but if you’re not a fan of sticky things then you’ll want to get some gloves and continue to eat because these are that good. It seems to get on the outside of the package as well, probably just a handling issue but that’s my only down side and not worth removing a star to and otherwise flawless sour candy.The flavor of the candy itself is hands down the best I’ve tried. Better than any hard candy you will find.The level 3 sour is pretty solidly sour without losing taste. I have to try the other flavors but the strawberry was amazing. Sour candy is my favorite and I’ve tried most everything and rank this towards the higher end of sour. It is average time wise lasting, but better flavor (I’m guessing it absorbs the strawberry fruit goodness to achieve this) than say a warhead or similar.If you like sour candy itself highly recommend these.
