Excellent results in just over a month
I used A1 grass seed to repair and reseed a lawn that was almost completely bare after some garden work. I sowed the seed on 20th May and by 22nd June I had a thick, green lawn covering almost the entire area.First pic is before using A1 seed, just after using a different brand, and the second pic is after mowing following the use of A1.Germination was quick and the grass established well, even in some more difficult spots around the edges. The colour is a healthy green and the lawn has responded well to its first mow. There are still a few thinner patches, but considering how bare the area was to start with, I’m extremely pleased with the results after just five weeks. The key was keeping the seedbed consistently moist during germination. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this seed to anyone starting a new lawn or repairing large bare patches.Very impressed with the coverage and growth rate.

Good stuff
Planted mid October started to appear 10 days later, also seeded a rough area of ground which had a shed on it for over 10 years very surprised at the amount of grass which grew ,I had my doubts that any would grow impressed

Be patient for germination but this stuff is amazing! no more bare lawns down the fence line.
I swear by A1 products, their fertilisers are great as well as all their other seed. I have an ongoing issue with one side of my lawn going bare over winter and getting filled out with moss, I therefore thought this year i would try this stuff when doing my annual maintenance. It took a little longer to germinate than their other seed but i think was due to low ground temps but now it has taken beautifully. (just over 2 weeks to see mass germination). I have also used this to overseed the rest of my lawn and it has started filling out my lawn very well. I have not found much that beats a1 products and it's my go to for any lawn products.

I grew a lawn!
I can’t grow anything so I didn’t have high hopes for this seed. I followed some YouTube videos as you do these days and after 8 days I have this lawn, it’s still a little patchy which is to be expected but it’s grown in the shade where grass has never grown before and is the healthiest I’ve ever seen my lawn. Plenty of new shoots in the patchy bits so I’ll give it another couple before figuring out what to do next. Fantastic!

Failure to germinate compounded by useless AI customer service bot.
I don't like to give bad feedback sometimes it requires it.....ZERO germination.ZERO help from AI agent Rowan (using AI for "customer service"? Can only be because its cheap as it totally fails at helping customers).ZERO response from a real human. After a few years of family use our existing lawn was in need of some TLC. I have spruced our lawn up in the past and it worked quite well so I used the same process this time.....Cut existing grass short.Apply moss killer and fertiliser.Wait two weeks and cut grass short again.Scarify to remove bumps and thatch.Sow seed using a spreader..Top off with a top soil/sharp sand mix.Wait while keeping ground moist. After 3 weeks of great growing weather..... ZERO germination.Go to customer (dis)service and all I got was an AI bot that's more interested in the order details rather than resolving the issue or putting a human in touch with me.I still have had no meaningful response so I don't know if it's a bad batch or not so with that in mind let your eyes be the judge. The first picture is from today (2nd May '26), the others are from 6 days earlier. All of the improvement is from the established grass. NONE is the light wispy hairlike growth you get from new grass seed.

Good value for money.
Once the weather warmed up, the seeds grew strongly and covered the planted area wonderfully.

Good value
Slower germination than expected but probably due to weather as just showing now after seeding a few weeks ago. Like this brand as a repeat order but first time with shady . Best value price.
