Ordered this because I forgot the charger that came with my laptop. Keep it around as a backup. The bottom of it had this weird bubbling in the paper.

a very good charger i was worried at first if it was gonna fit my tuf dash 15 but after receiving it and plugging it in it fit perfectly like a glove and too i love that it charges my laptop very fast

My son is a gamer and uses his laptop for hours on end. He also takes it with him to work and to friends' houses. He needed a back up charger because sometimes he forgets his if it's not attached (kind of like his head lol). When it arrived, I was surprised by how heavy it is. Way heavier than my laptop charger. My son says it fits his Asus FX505 series and it's nicer than the original.

This charger successfully charged a compatible ASUS laptop I tested it with. It looks very similar to the official ASUS charger that came with the laptop, including with the ROG logo on the front.The back resembles an official ASUS charger too, but with the ASUS branding removed. It still contains various certification logos, e.g., the CE logo indicating conformance with EU regulations and a TÜV logo indicating it’s passed testing in Germany.This charger worked fine for me, and if the certification logos are genuine, then it should work fine for other compatible ASUS laptops.

Let's start with the pictures I posted. As you can see the original charger pack has a higher output of power, but is also thinner yet longer. If we compare the size of these 2 chargers then they basically take up the exact same amount of space. Even though the power output is lower than my original, this pack still charges and keeps my laptop charged perfectly. This pack does and will get warm to the touch, but so does my original charger pack especially under heavy use or loads. So far I have no complaints about it and it's performing well on with ROG Strix SCAR 18. I can also appreciate the added logo to make it look more genuine.I keep this charger in a different part of my house so that it's always there and I have power when needed. Great for a replacement, or as a second charger to keep elsewhere.

The power supply worked just as well as the original. Didn't have any issues with overheating or issues with connector tightness, it just worked the same as the original power supply. Came with good quality cables and looks great. Chances are good it will outlive the laptop.

This is a great replacement charger for the OEM one from Asus. It has the ROG branding on one side and the other side has the usual certifications you would want to see on a 180w laptop charger. I didn't find the charger got any warmer or hot than the OEM charger even when pushing the laptop to its limits. The build quality is okay and this feels noticeably cheaper in your hands than the original one but from afar you can't tell its a third party replacement. It fits in the charging port perfectly and stays secure. The charger is quite heavy as expected. This is a good option if you need a replacement or backup charger and the certifications provide a sense of relief

This AC adapter for ASUS gaming laptop is very well built and feels premium quality. The DC connector fits just right and the adapter does not get hot while gaming or charging which makes it safe to use over long periods. I liked the ROG logo on the other side. Overall, I am happy with the product quality and price. Highly Recommended.

The only thing this power adapter shares with ASUS adapters is the ROG logo.It doesn't exactly feel cheap, but there are a bunch of things that make it feel inexpensively made. The plastics and PVC used on the case and cables feel fine, but you can see that the attention to detail just isn't there. There are plastic weld seams all along the "cap" of the power supply, and on the underside you can easily feel where the four corner screw holes are underneath the sticker. In fact, everything about this power supply says that it was made from modular part sources and just assembled with a logo cap to complete the ASUS ROG branding and "compatibility".Unloaded voltage was measured at 20.68 VDC. In my testing it didn't get excessively warm or exhibit any behavior that would make me think it is unsafe.Recommended only as a basic-quality adapter.
