Fits 2004 Forester group 35 battery
Good oem Subaru part. Fit my group 35 battery in my 2004 Forester XT.

Fits a 2006 Legacy
At some point before I bought my car the tray was lost. There was corrosion under the battery from leaky acid. I cleaned that up and repainted the affected areas with high heat spray paint. I then installed this tray. My car is not listed as compatible but this tray fits just fine and the bumps on the bottom align with holes in the metal so this will not slide around. I also repainted my battery tie down hardware to reduce corrosion but may end up replacing that. I also replaced a very corroded positive battery terminal also bought on Amazon. Total job time was 10 minutes. If you have a 10mm and 12mm wrench this is something you can do in your driveway and save a lot of money.
