2 Top Base Gear (Plastic) Replacement Spare Parts Compatible with Nutribullet 600/900

Ordered these plastic replacements for my Nutribullet as the original broke. Arrived a day or two later in suitable packaging. Item is exactly as shown, plastic part with the gold centre.Quite a straightforward job to replace once you know how, I really do recommend watching a YouTube video if unsure. After getting the base off the Nutribulllet, the trickest part for me was removing the old gold centre part that was extremely stuck. Small blitz of WD40, screwdriver in the screw on the fan base to hold steady, vice grip on the gold centre and summoning your inner Popeye turning CLOCKWISE worked. New part fits like a glove, again screw on the fan base to hold steady, screwing new part on ANTICLOCKWISE and replace base. Took 15 minutes total and I was back to enjoying my banana milkshakes

I was about to bin my nutribullet 900 as the top base gear had shattered and to be honest, it was a few years old and is showing signs of age. Anyway, with my sustainability head on and the option of spending a fiver, or maybe upwards of £70 for an upgraded newer version, I thought I’d try the replacement part instead. Shortened version, its worked a treat and as well as it ever has. Replacing the part was a bit fiddly and you need the right tools and ideally, another person to assist but I’m glad I didn’t just throw it away.

My Nutribulltet Top Base Gear disintegrated..... ordered a spare.... struggled to remove the old until i used the right tools namely: 1) Grip/Mole Pliers, 2) Snubbed Nose Flat head screw driver and 3) WD40 to under the nut from spindle. New fitting when on without a problem. Trying to do it without 1,2,3 led to a lesson in fustration. Factor in the cost of 1/2/3 if you dont have them.

Well that was a flaff ! The bit itself was perfect but getting the old piece off was frustrating. I watched a couple of YouTube videos which made it look easy but my old bit was stuck fast. Almost gave up!! I stumbled on a video about replacing the motor which gave me the idea of taking the housing off and the motor fan off to get a better purchase on the shaft holding the broken bit. Once that was off it was all simples

Really easy to replace the original.Undo the screws on the bottom and carefully loft off the bottom.Grap a tea towel and grap the fan, then turn the top gear and it should come off. If you don't hold the fan, the top will just spin around.

This product got our bullet back in action pretty quickly. It's a bit of an oversight on Nutribullet's part to use this cheap plastic part given the strive for quality - and as is typical, the old one smashed just after the warrenry was void. Replacement did require taking the entire machine apart to get pliers around the shaft and remove the gold threaded section from the old broken part. Screwdriver trick is the base didn't work for me and remember this part threads in the impostors direction to normal (clockwise to remove)

Watched a YouTube video and had the part replaced in 2mins , Philips head screwdriver n pliers all that is needed

So Easy to repair I fixed my old Bullet also my 900 one my son had to fix that as getting the old one wasn't so easy but replacing so easy
