Orris root with gorgeous floral fragrance for cooking
Today, I received my order of ground Orris Root Powder. It's a lovely cream colored powder with a nicely different floral flavor. It's particularly used in perfumery, natural medicines and some cooking. I bought it because I like to make my own culinary spice blends and was searching for something that would have a different flavor than the usual curries. This is it. I can hardly wait to try using it in Moroccan Ras el Hanout spice blend!

Too expensive
I use this to add to homemade charcoal tooth powder, since it is one of the ingredients in the ones I got from the store. I don't know what it is supposed to do in a product, but I used it and it seems fine. Have been brushing my teeth with mixture of this product plus all the other ingredients that need to be mixed in. The only issue I have is that I don't understand why the product is so expensive. It is a TINY package. I think I paid too much.
