We bought the 8 x 10 unit. This shade unit is very well made and works exactly as intended. The frame is very sturdy and has a nice white powder coated finish. All the hardware and the shade cover are very well made. The unit is a very good value for the price. My only issue is that the instructions are a little lacking in some areas but there was an extra sheet with color step by step pictures that really helped. Be sure you read and re-read the instructions several times so you get the installation process right. I like the fact that the angle of the shade can be adjusted depending on the time of year. It takes 2 people minimum to install this shade, but if you take your time you can get a nice install. I would not hesitate to buy Vevor products again in the future.

Directions are difficult to follow, but you have to take the time and go step by step. If on a stucco or wood siding wall You need to get at least 3/8" x 3 1/2" lags. And get them in studs Quality materials Easy to adjust your slope. But could not find directions making that easy to follow. All in all I am happy with the product

Bought this for a summer party. Given the price I would've been happy if it just survived that party. That said, its holding up great. It's definitely flimsy when unassembled, and somewhat trying to put together, once installed it's quite nice. In the stowed position its tidy and unobtrusive. In the open position it's not all that confidence inspiring. It seems like a moderate gust of wind might fold this thing up like a pretzel, but on a calm sunny day this is absolutely awesome. We've gotten a good summer out of it which is more than I expected, and I am sure its good for a few more.

As others have said, the instructions are terrible. The pictures are just too small and tiny to be useful. They included a new sheet of color photos for each step but they’re still small. However, if you’re mechanically minded, this is easy to install and set up. You do need to spread out the fabric so make sure you have a large (10x8) area to assemble this, and put a tarp down if you’re doing it outside to avoid scratching the frame or staining the fabric. They only include expansion anchors for concrete, if you’re installing this into a wood frame house, you’ll need 3-4” lag screws, and be sure it’s into a stud or header. Also, the crank side is reversible, even though they don’t tell you it is. Just pick the side before you assemble it; it comes as a left-hand crank (when facing the awning).

DO NOT BUY! I should have read the one-star reviews. The installation was a nightmare. The sequence of written instruction is different from that of the pictorial. In the instruction, there was a step where you had to push something. Instead, it said to "pull". It took me a while to figure that out. Don't they do a quality control of the products they sell? Or do they only care about making big profits? One of the legs does not slide easily, no matter how much adjustments I make on the bolts. I even sprayed the part with DW-40, but no luck. When pulling in, one side goes faster than the other side, creating tension on the whole thing and the fabric. The caps were not easy to install. They kept coming loose, had to drill two screws into the metal frame to keep them in place. Finally gave up on trying to make this thing work after 3 days of fixing and adjusting. Save yourself your time, effort and money.

My son and I assembled the awning in about 11/2 hours . The directions are somewhat muddled so you must take your time but with a little time it goes together fine. All parts were included but there are no wood lags it fasten to wood studs so that's a separate purchase. The awning works very smooth and fits my area fine. Would buy again

Got a 10 x 12 size. A lot of pieces to figure out need two people took three days to figure out how to put it all together not an easy job passing stuff through it. That’s not counting putting it up after the three days make sure you have the right equipment to work with equipmentdeal with this headache but at the end is good quality material for it’sprice and it looks good and does its job.

I bought this as a potential ‘throw away’ awning for the summer at $120 for an 8*10. I’m impressed at the solid components. If/when the awning falls apart, it’s designed to be replaced relatively easily and that’s what I’ll do. Pros - solid strong frame. Easy wind handle to roll up, roll out. Looks nice and finished. Adjustable angle. Cons- doesn’t pull super taut so at a sharp pitch, it doesn’t shed water easily and it pools which concerns me that it’ll collapse with too much weight. I could adjust the angle to help, but it still doesn’t pull tight so I wouldn’t want to assume this is a great solution as a rain awning, just sun. I roll it in every night.

Produit conforme à la description. Produit de tres bonne qualité. Le montage n'a rien de bien compliqué, faut être précis sur le perssage au mur, la marge d'erreur est quasi nul, et prévoir être 2. Mais le résultat est bien là. Là toile est de bonne qualité, assez épaisse couvre totalement le soleil ne laissantpas passer les UV. Les bras articulé on l'aire d'etre suffisamment résistant pour tenir dans le temp, le déroulage et l'enroulage se fait sans effort. Très satisfait. Je le recommande. Seul bémol le retard de la livraison. 10 jours pour la livraison au lieux des 3 jours annoncé.
