This set is really cool looking! It fits my mid-century modern diner kitchen. I especially liked how the inner rim of the lid is lined in plastic and the top is coated with enamel. My previous shaker set was classic glass/metal diner-style shakers and the metal rusted here in ultra-humid Florida! The red on this set is an outer sleeve that slips over the tempered glass. On the first set that I received, the sleeve wasn't properly adhered and when I washed them (something I always do to new items), water got under the sleeve and got trapped, loosening the sleeve. I contacted the manufacturer and exchanged them. The new set is perfect! They've got a nice heft to them and, bonus, the holes are large enough for kosher salt! I'm very happy with this shaker set!

These live in my kitchen, which has a lot of red items in it. They are pretty and a perfect size.

These are in my Alaska cabin. It’s a short term rental so I need large salt & pepper shackers. Thick glass, no worry about them breaking. Great flow of both spices. Very attractive!

These look much more expensive than they are. They have a good weight to them. The only negative is that the holes in the pepper shaker could be larger. You can only get it to come out if you use very fine ground pepper.
