This skillet replaced one that I had for 30+ years. I love the rather elegant shape, which is really nice. Because of its three piece design, the temperature control can be used from either side by simply reversing the cooking pan. The skillet is large, and heats evenly. I have only had it for a couple of months, but because we are remodeling our kitchen and I am currently without a cooktop or oven, it has been used almost daily, for everything from spaghetti to hamburgers to eggs and bacon. I can cook eggs in one end of this skillet and bacon at the other end. It works wonderfully for preparing chicken Alfredo, too. I laugh and tell everyone I feel like a new bride, learning to cook in a single skillet. Nothing sticks, and clean up is so easy; we just wipe it out with a sponge and a drop of Dawn. It would go in the dishwasher easily, too, but mine isn't installed. Probably won't use it for my skillet anyhow. Takes more time than hand washing does. We use only silicone utensils to avoid scratches. The glass lid has a vent, too, but I really love the way the heating unit separates from the base, almost like a chafing dish. It has legs that really add to the looks of this terrific dish if you want to take it to the table. Can you tell I love this item? Great design, excellent to cook with!

Bought this for my mother-in-law and she loves it. Appreciates that it's not Teflon coated. The heat distribution is great. I was concerned about the cord length, but it works fine. I wouldn't say it's "reversible". You basically just turn it around but works perfectly for her layout.

First off this skillet is not truly duo sided as advertised. It sits in a removable base that is useless and takes up space. The gimmick is that the base itself can be positioned so the plug is on either side. However the control itself always stays and is correctly facing the user, when its on the right. The non-stick has lost it's value around the heat ring, there is a perpetual ring of baked on coating that appeared within 3-4 months of use. I have not had this more than 8 months or so. We use it several times a week, especially in the summer to avoid heating the house up. Attempts to clean the baked on ring by boiling water, "elbow greace," and other methods that won't damage the non stick coating have been futile. All-in it's a good, large electric skillet, but over priced.

My husband who does all the cooking absolutely loves this brand skillet. It works well and is very accurate with temps. I love that is lifts off the base to clean. We have bought this twice now and will probably buy again. I’m always looking for it to go on sale. It is pricey.

This electric skillet has changed our life in the kitchen. It works better than my stove. It’s so easy to clean and it heats up so fast. I would definitely buy it again if I had to.

Love my new electric skillet!!! It is a ceramic finish I believe so the food does not stick and is healthier than Teflon finish! I use spray oil as well. This is probably my 6th electric skillet and I am hoping this one doesn't develop crusted places where I have cooked. Very glad for new finish!

I love this skillet! When it comes to cooking, I wouldn’t say this skillet is better or worse than my old one. Where it shines is in clean up. I used to dread cleaning my old teflon electric skillet. With this ceramic finish model I just wipe out any oil/ grease (because we have a septic tank) the skillet then takes 5 minutes or less to wash. Everything just slides right off. I also love the detachable base. It definitely makes washing easier.
