Does this hold temperature for a school day? Also will freezing ruin the bottle?

This is a BPA free plastic composite bottle. It will be the temperature of the surrounding air. Freezing the bottle will probably cause the bottle to crack and leak. Zak does make stainless steele bottles that hold temperature and can be pre-chilled. We currently do not have any in stock.
