Exactly what I wanted at a good price
I bought these for use with Shadows of Brimstone: Forbidden Fortress, so needed cheap, decent quality, but plentiful. This item is all of those. The coins are a good size, and not so thin as to be fragile or easily bent. Details are just as visible as in the photos, and the color is accurate. When the coins arrived they had a chemical odor, I assume from the paint, but after leaving them out for a few days it seems totally gone.I received 99 of the coins described and pictured in the listing, and 1 similar coin approximately 10mm in diameter. This is actually very welcome, and I might try to purchase coins to match this smaller one for use as a different denomination.

Not quite an inch in diameter.
FYI, they're 15/16 (or .93) of an inch.

Awesome. Using them for D&D props!
They are nice, solid, have no English writing on them anywhere (so they work well in a fantasy and/or sci-fi setting). Very durable and relatively inexpensive. The look and act just like real coins, and the thought occurred to me a while back: heck, half the board games ever made have some kind of tokens for money, why not D&D? WAY more fun to throw a sack of these at the PCs than it is to just say "write down 100 g.p. on your character sheet"....

Too bad I can't find thicker coins
The Amazon marketplace seems to be flooded with this particular kind of celebratory coin. I had hoped to find some similar to what my grandparents had which are about 1.5 mm thick whereas these are only 1 mm thick. It doesn't sound like much difference, but these ones you can easily bend whereas the old ones, you couldn't. Their appearance is nice enough, though.

All 100 were accounted for. They all came looking pretty good. One came with the square not poked through, but it doesn't matter cause you can like it pretty easily. Got these for my 5th graders that are going into 6th grade this year to give them good luck on each of their journeys into middle and high school. Thank you would recommend these.

Coins were great. My son likes to play pirates so we use these as our buried treasure. We have now started using them as a reward system for doing good in school. One coin = one dollar at our house! They were great quality and the design was very pretty!
