Warranty valid in PRC only. English interface is not ready for primetime
Here’s my APP STORE REVIEW(I have been using MUSE for two years, so I am doing some comparisons.)Even support site is in ChineseONE DAY LATER: There is plenty of stuff in here, but teasing it out is hard. I’m learning what’s here by trial and error. English Games are seemingly available only at the website, but even these are limited (two) and hard to findSeems like most of the games don’t work, or if they do, I can’t get to them. They seem to be almost all in Chinese.Very convoluted. The English syntax, spelling and grammar are atrocious. This is an extremely ambitious undertaking, but it’s not nearly for English language prime time.TWO DAYS LATER — I wanted to keep this....Warranty obviously written by EFL Attorneys NOT the ESL Engineer developers.WARRANTY VERY SPECIFICALLY ONLY VALID IN PRC. THERE ARE SPECIFICALLY NO international warranties.TAKE HOME MESSAGE:1. Ambitious engineering product at a good price. Seems to have large following in PRC. Probably a very good product. Muse depends on you with closed eyes: this seems to require open eyes for optimal function. This utilized audiovisual feedback during games. Muse only uses audio feedback. This attempts to tease out “concentration” along with relaxation. MUSE pretty much defaults to relaxation.2. English interface not ready for prime time in English speaking audience. Chaotic!3. Warranty only valid in PRC4. If you still want to experiment, buy it.5. I prefer MUSE6. REGRETTABLY, MINE GOES BACK TO AMAZON.

Handy, Portable and easy to use headband
We started using the Brainlink Lite headband a couple months ago with our neurofeedback applications and love its ease of use and the fact that it fits over your hair and you don't have to tie your hair back to use it. The Macrotellect company is also very responsive and helpful to our questions. There are three copper sensors on the front of the headband and one of them is a reference sensor. There's a rechargeable, removable pod that makes the headband light and easy to use. Two beeps mean the forehead is detected and four beeps mean it's about to run out of battery.

Wait for better app support
Not alot of apps out there worth a damn. The Gizmo works, but if you don't have that "killer app", it's just gonna collect dust, or on this case get returned.

Would not recommend
The instructions and setup aren't clear. Most the companion apps aren't in English and the ones that are either don't work or crash often. I liked the concept but it just didn't work.
