Quietens lifters for sure
This products works to quieten lifters. Just pour into the into the oil compartment and let run for a few minutes and it's a noticeable difference. Other products may work similar but this seems to work better for my needs and hopefully extend engine use.

Works like a champ!
I was working on my 1967 F100. It hadn’t been cranked in over 20 years. It was a 352 V8. I had several problems during start up. I bent 3 push rods as the valves were stuck. I replaced the pushrods and utilized several products to get the valves to release. I got the motor cranked again and it was running very well but had a terrible tick because of a stuck lifter. I sprayed many different lubricants into the lifter area and added different products to the oil with zero affect. It was a serious tap that would definitely lead to engine failure if I ran it like this for long. I was searching YouTube for any possible chemical treatment as I was resigned to remove the head and replace the lifter when I ran across a video about liquid moly. So I ordered the product and added it to my fresh oil. Within two minutes the tapping stopped. All I can say is that was definitely miraculous!

well that worked so far, lifter ticking noise gone
2016 Tahoe, 5.3 ltr, has 200,000 miles. Had a lifter ticking noise, and per dealership mechanic- stated bad lifter and may need to be replaced. Tried this product 1st (figured what the heck.. if it didn't work then I am out only a few bucks)..... At around 400 miles noticed a small difference in the ticking being quieter. At 1200 miles, much better and at 1500 miles, the ticking is gone. Motor runs smooth still and temp is just right too. I was skeptical at first, but it appears to be working very well. I am ordering a couple more cans, and will add each one at the next two oil changes.

Not a miracle fix in a bottle
First of all, I'm not going to give this product a terrible review. This product is NOT meant for mechanically damaged lifters or parts of a valve train and is not a magic "fix your engine additive." It's meant for if you have sludge or some crud causing a lifter to stick.(which at that point you should be changing the oil on a more regular basis). My 02 Suburban with the 5.3 has a bad lifter that's ticking pretty loudly. This product did nothing for it, but again that's because the mechanical roller on the lifter is chewed up, if it was just clogged up with debris, this stuff would probably take care of that, and stop the tick.I only give 4 stars because I didn't have a chance to test it on an engine that had a lifter tick due to clogged/dirty lifters, so I don't really know how it'd work on that. For $10 I'd definitely try it again if I had another lifter ticking, because if could just be debris and gunk!

Absolutely worth it and it's a miracle liquid
I can't say enough about this stuff. I ordered it just on a whim hoping that maybe would do something as My four-cylinder 2009 Mitsubishi eclipse was ticking horribly. It took about 2 months of driving but all of a sudden one day I started it up and there was no tick and it's been going for some time now.

Not the Miracle Formula i hoped for
I live in Arizona and have a 1994 Ford Bronco 5.8 Engine and had a lifter noise for years. I mostly drive the truck offroad and less than 4000 miles a year. I have 253,000 miles on it and every year before May I start doing my maintenance on it for the summer. I was looking for the Best item to use to quiet the noise because it was getting worst. I looked athrough a lot and would read the Feedbacks and this one had a high rating. I bought a can of this and a can of the motor flush. When it got here I realized it was from Germany and had English and German instructions on the can. First things first, according to the can it's best to do the motor flush first and get everything clean. So what you have to do is doit yourself. Get whatever oil filter you're gonna use and the oil. I use a high mileage oil. You pour in the motor flush and let it idle for 10 minutes. Don't drive it or race the engine, just let it sit and idle. Which I did exactly and then drain the oil. I was amazed at how black the oil was an saw little pieces of dried oil pour out. I kept the plug out and let it drip till nothing more came out. Then I took the oil filter off and put it in the box the new one cam in to dump later. I put on the new filter and poured this Liquid Moly Hydraulic in first and added the rest of the oil needed. I started up the truck and for the first few hours was stunned and amazed because all the lifter noise was gone. I was very please. The next morning it was about 35° and when I started the truck the lifter noise was back but not as loud. I figured sitting overnight all the oil is in the pan so this could be normal until the oil warms up and spreads. Drove it a few hours and every time I stopped at a light I heard the noise. Needless to say it's been weeks and the lifter noise is back. This isn't the miracle formula I was hoping it to be. That's why I gave it one star.
