LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver | 300 ml | Oil additive | SKU: 2020

My pickup has 160k miles and started slowly burning oil, plus I noticed small oil spots on my garage floor 😟. I tried LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver, 300 ml additive (SKU:2020) during my regular oil change. I poured the whole bottle into the engine oil as instructed. It works by rejuvenating aged rubber seals, so I waited a few hundred miles to see results. After around 700 miles, the oil leak slowed drastically, and I no longer see fresh puddles under the truck. The blue exhaust smoke on cold startup also disappeared. It quieted some of the rougher engine noise too. This additive mixes smoothly with regular motor oil and won’t harm catalytic converters. The 300ml size perfectly fits my engine with a 5-liter oil capacity. It saved me from an expensive seal replacement job. Very impressed, will keep this on hand for my high-mileage vehicles.

The break room refrigerator is right next to the back door, and employees and delivery drivers frequently go in and out. I bought this Liqui Moly oil changer to put in our old delivery hatch, which we use to transport protein powder and cleaning supplies. That vehicle was notorious for its high oil consumption. After changing the oil, I poured out the oil changer and then observed the oil dipstick for a month. Previously, we had to add oil every two weeks. Now I add it about once a month, and the leakage on the valve cover has significantly decreased. Considering its price and the fact that it doesn't require a trip to the repair shop, that alone makes it worth trying. 🚗

When my 2011 Outback started sipping oil between weekend mountain runs, I grabbed this to see if I could stretch things a bit. After one 300 ml can, oil use dropped a little, which I’m glad about, but it did not stop it. Engine sounds a bit smoother on climbs though, especially on long grades. For the price I might use it again before a big road trip, but it is not magic. 🛻🛠️

I have an Audi A4 b8.5 that was leaking a lot of oil needing an oil change after just 1500 miles. It was subtle at first to where you wouldn't notice, but over time it started leaking puddles of oil 7-8 inches in diameter. So when I checked underneath the car, I noticed that it was leaking where the oil pan gasket is. Then I remembered my mechanic friend telling me about this Liqui Moly stuff and how he uses it on oil changes for cars that have high mileage with worn out seals. I took his advice bought some and used it when I did my oil change. I did 4.6 QTS of 05-30w Valvoline HM oil with a mixture of LM Oil Saver. Drove it around for about 30 miles, and overnight I noticed the puddle was now smaller around 3-4 inches instead of the 7-8 inches in diameter it usually is. The oil leak remained that way for a couple of weeks, it lessened but didn't stop it completely, it was still consistently leaking oil 3-4 inches in diameter. However once I hit the 700 mile mark, boy I was surprised, the leaks have lessened significantly to the point where my garage was mostly dry now. To this day it is holding oil quite nicely. I definitely recommend this to someone looking for a temporary fix, but just know it takes 500 miles or even more according to my mechanic friend for the seal to take full effect.

My engine was drinking oil like crazy. I poured the whole bottle in after an oil change, drove to work and back for a week, then checked the dipstick. Usually it drops a lot. This time it barely moved, which honestly made me weirdly happy. The car feels a bit smoother at idle too. Nothing dramatic, it just runs nicer and smokes less on cold start. For a cheap little add-on, it did exactly what I wanted. Now I keep one extra bottle on the garage shelf next to my random PC parts.

Glad I grabbed this for our 2012 family SUV that’s starting to sip oil between changes. I dumped the whole bottle in during an oil change and kept an eye on the dipstick over the next month. It still burns some oil, but a bit less, and I am topping up less often. So it helps, just not magic. Engine sounds a little smoother on cold starts, which is nice when I’m heading out early with the kids for soccer practice. Price feels a touch high for 300 ml, but if it keeps me from chasing oil leaks right now, I can live with it.

Really saved my 20k rupees, as I have a leak from valve packing of my vento tdi Crossed 1.5L kms, it works perfectly and now no leak.

I have Saab 9-5 vehicle, and recently I started to notice some oil leak from the engine, which after checking found out that the gasket needs a replacement. I thought of giving it a try and use LM motor oil saver.. It works! No more leak and the gasket seems to seal the engine well (as it slightly affects the size of the rubber).. I believe this has extended the life of the gasket for around 4 to 6 months more. Great product.. I recommend it for such scenario. PS. The engine noise or vibration was not changed in my case, unlike what other reviews mentioned.
