Many times the wall warts can cause noise in other devices in a power strip such as this. Not good for speakers or other audio equipment. I have used this a few times for band gigs, and I am happy to report no issues with noise from the USB conversion. Saves room and plugs when you have built in USB like this. Great stuff!

This is a pretty nice power strip. Its about 1 3/8” thick and very light weight. The 6ft cord is thick enough for 600AWG load and long enough for most applications. The end plug on the cord hugs the outlet when you plug it in so it does not interfere with the other outlet. The 6 power outlets on the power strip are spaced far enough apart so there is room for cube or block plugs to plug in each of them. The USB ports have good spacing as well. There are two loops on the bottom that can be used to mount it on a wall or bench. If you do not need the loops they can be tucked in under the power strip. I like them tucked in when I use it on my work desk. There are 13 small padded feet on the bottom of the power strip that keep it from scratching surfaces when it is set down on them. They also lift it up and let the bottom breath.This power strip is somewhat water proof. Water can get into the outlets and USB ports but there are holes on the bottom for the water to run out if it is laying on a flat surface. I think it could still short out if it is plugged in and water spilt on it. The power switch though is covered so liquids don’t get in or around it and it lights up when the power strip is turned on. The 6 outlets are a little tight so it takes more effort to plug things in the outlets. But it will probably get easier the more times things are plugged in.When using this power strip I filled all of the outlets with devices from my desk and it functioned just fine. It did not get hot just slightly warm. The USB and USB-C ports had enough power to charge a couple phones, a small fan and a tablet at the same time though it may have taken longer.Over all this is a decent power strip that is built well and functions nicely. I think it could be used in many different places such as in an office, a workshop, a garage or in the home. It would be good for an entertainment center.

I’ve been looking for a power strip to use outdoors as I have a lot of lights and other electronic item on my patio. I not only needed a power strip but needed one that is designed to stand up to rain! This power strip was specifically built to be waterproof. It has two USB C ports, 2 USB A ports, 6 3-pronged outlets and a 6 foot cord. It perfect for the location I need it at, which doesn’t flood, but does come into contact with rain from time to time. I feel really safe after inspecting this power strip. It has all the usual surge protection. The outlets are spaced so that you can plug in two large plugs without losing any use of the other two. The structure is built to be waterproof and electric shock resistant so the plugs are a bit tighter than usual power strips but they are very secure and the waterproof feature makes me feel extra safe!

I never seem to have enough power strips, and with the popular addition of USB slots on power strips today I keep updating my old strips and replacing them with the ubiquitous USB port strips. (I have lots of USB stuff)This power strip outputs 5V DC from the USB port and maintains over 5V DC even with a 1-amp load. Might not sound like a big deal but I have tested many devices lately that don't reach the USB standard of 5V DC, some not even 4V, and a lot that will not deliver 5V DC with a load. This power strip does fine in that regard.The sockets have reasonable insertion force and grip the plugs well. Again, that might not sound interesting, but I have seen power strips that it is nearly impossible to insert a plug into, or receptacles that are so loose that, for example, an Amazon Echo power brick will fall out of if mounted sideways. Also, I have seen power strips that even with the plug shoved in ALL THE WAY they won't reach the connector. (I threw that one away)Lighted switch is a nice touch.I note that the description mentions eight receptacles. Obviously, the power strip has 6 AC outlets.Recommended.

While I did not submerge it to test that feature I did get it wet. It got wet while using it with my ultra-sonic cleaner and it didn't die or spark. It's worked perfectly the entire time.

I like the build quality on this power strip. The layout max it easy to plug in multiple wider power blocks as well as USB-A and USB-C cords.It is water proof so you do have to push the cords in more than on a normal cord. This leads me to the only problem that I found. If you have a large and heavy (not just wide) power brick - such as one for the latest macbook pro - then the power blocks tend to lean back out of the socket. This breaks the connection and stops the charging. This can also happen by accident when moving the cord. It has to do with the way the power outlets are out towards the edge - allowing the block to rock into an angle.Other than that, this is a great power strip!

I'm getting pickier in my old age, and having solid and reliable tech is a must. This item in particular has been a lifesaver, and I love all the different options to plug into. Saving my tech + my mental - I couldn't be happier.

I was a bit torn at leaving this review, as it looks like this particular power strip has become unavailable? Not sure why-we love it! Anyway, we are perfectly happy with this item, it works as intended. We have a lot of outside gatherings with smokers and tv's going, and guests are always asking where they can plug in their phones, so this is the perfect device for us! When not being used outside, it lives in the hub of our home, which is the living room, on a side table-PERFECT for us old people to plug in phone chargers, instead of having to climb behind furniture to get to the plug-in! This hasn't been used in a capacity yet where it has a chance of getting wet, but we are appreciative of that feature. I hope this items returns to the mix soon, as, for the price, we would definitely invest in more!
