Traina Home Grown CA Sun Dried Peach Halves -Dried Fruit (2lbs / 32oz)

I've ordered these several times. Excellent quality and the taste is not to be beat!

The intense flavor and texture are both so good, it's actually hard to believe. I buy a lot of dried peaches from various health food stores, because I love them. These are by far the best I have ever had. Only one problem: I don't think 5 pounds of these are going to last very long. I bought 5 pounds of these and 5 pounds of dried California apricots. I opened the apricots first. The apricots were excellent, and I thought that the peaches would be no match for them. But, the peaches turned out to be terrific.

I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant to buy but I've been craving dried peaches for a long time and decided to try these. When it arrived they looked great and not dry or off colored. Taste is good has a delicate peach taste and kind of sweet and tart. The sweetness could be a bit better but it's ok. The peaches were plump and still a bit juicy and not dried like it was in a desert for months. Overall I like them and would probably try vying a4 pound box next when it's on sale.

These were amazing! Its so hard to find no sugar added dehydrated fruits. My husband and I found these to be a wonderful snack. They did have an off smell which I can only guess as to the preservation used which is why I gave 4/5 stars. Aside from the of smell they are good. I had no issues after eating them. Hubby said the smell was due to the preservation used, but wanted to order again. We plan on ordering a five pound bag. These in my opinion are the best tasting no sugar added dehydrated peaches ever. They were plenty sweet to me, but this comes from somebody who limits sugar consumption.

These dried peaches are delicious! Good flavor, great texture, and no concerns. If you order them from a Northern climate in the winter, be advised that if the weather is 'just so' on the day they are delivered, it's possible for some condensation (a slight amount of moisture) to form on the sealed bag when you bring it indoors. This is because of the temperature changes from warm delivery truck to being on your doorstep followed by being indoors again when you bring your package inside.The risk involved with the condensation forming on the inside of the package is that it could cause the dried peaches to form mold. We are aware of this issue, so we looked carefully at the package upon bringing it inside and simply left the top of the bag open on the counter for the afternoon so the moisture could evaporate on its own. Doing so prevents mold/fungus/rot from forming on these delicious peaches due to condensation! :-D

We ordered a 5 lb box of Traina Extra Fancy Peach Halves. The quality was extraordinary - super moist, super sweet, they were finished and we could not wait to order a second box. The 2nd order arrived yesterday, and we ate 5 peach halves. They could not have been more opposite from the first order - dry, tough, tart, not sweet, and virtually unenjoyable. $75 worth of compost. We are so disappointed in the extreme lack of quality control from our first order. Very disappointed Traina. I have placed multiple orders of your royal ruby apricots and the quality has been extremely consistent - excellent. What Happened??

Best dried peaches I’ve ever eaten

I got the peaches also. I wrote to the company but have not heard back yet.That is exactly what happened to me! The smell was like sulfur and vinegar and just stinks. Hard to describe, but for all the money you pay for their fruit, I would not order again. I ate a few also, thinking it was maybe just me, and did not feel well all evening. I thought the smell may go away, after I put them in the refrigerator, but it has not. I have nothing against Traina - I could not wait to get these - but they are inedible.This is an add on to the comment. The company was very nice and told me that this is a normal smell, like stinky socks after working out. I did find if I let them at room temperature and let them air out - they tasted like really good peaches.
