The spoons are cute but instead of getting one slotted spoon and regular spoon, I received two regular spoons. What are the spoons carving is messed up a little.

These are a really cute decorative addition to the kitchen and make a great gift. They are good for stirring but the heart top makes them inefficient for scrapping the bottom or sides of a pan or bowl. They are too shallow to use as a serving spoon. They are great for salads though. Do not put them in the dishwasher, but they are easy to hand wash.

The heart spoons come in a nice box but are loose with no bubble wrap. They are well made, smooth to the touch and very attractive in person. There is a clever heart shaped hole in the handles for hanging. We have never had bamboo kitchen utensils, so I did a bit of research: Bamboo is naturally strong, less susceptible than wood to cracking, non-toxic, and resistant to water, heat, and bacteria. It is lightweight and easy to clean. Stronger than wood, bamboo will not harm fine, non-stick, and metal cookware, and will not take on odors or flavors. It is hand-wash only, clean gently with mild soapy water and let it dry. Avoid soaking it in water for a long time to extend its service life. Me. This spoon set. Love at first sight. What a cute idea! It is well designed from top to bottom ... the little heart opening at the base of the handle is the sweetest and there are red satin ribbons included to make them look even more festive! These spoons are more than just a pretty face, however. They have a balanced feel to them in my hand, the bamboo is sanded smooth for comfort, the etching is bright and crisp, and the bowls of the spoons are generously sized so that they may be used as serving spoons. I love mine so much I ordered a second set for my bestie for Valentine's Day. She will love them as much as I do! Well done.
