I recently purchased the MeLE Quieter 4C N100 with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, and I am incredibly impressed with its performance and sleek design. Design & Build Quality: The first thing that caught my eye was the compact and slim profile. It’s incredibly space-saving, making it perfect for my small desk setup. The fanless design is truly a game changer! It runs silently, which is a blessing when working in a quiet environment or during late-night sessions. My last mini pc didn't last a year and a half. This one is really small - the size of an external storage brick. I mounted it on the back of my monitor. It gets hot to the touch, but according to CoreTemp it runs cooler than the older one did that had a fan. It's a bit slower than I like, but fine for the price. One needs to monkey around with myriad settings for both Windows 11 and the browsers to get the best performance. A memory cleaner helps too. Tried the phone link but I found it creepy and it sometimes made it harder to pair other devices. Make a recovery stick as soon as you have it set up, and then again after you get the settings to where you like them. I no longer keep nay important data on the computer itself. A multi usb splitter works well and I just use bricks and the cloud. Maybe this one will last longer than that CTONE mini that got a blue screen of death and then the never-ending spinning that would not allow me to get into the bios to boot any repairs. Glad I got the Asurion plan - full refund. Got it for this new pc also.

I have been using a Quieter3C (8/256) for more than two years and been happy enough to get another one. The old one stood outdoors in different weather conditions. Of course I do best to protect it from water. Otherwise, it survived working when it's 110°F or when it's 20°F around. Now, the new one is a Quiter4C (16/512). Note that models with 16GB RAM do not have internal eMMC flash. Those 512GB are cheapo NVMe SSD that occupy the sole M.2 slot. If you want to expand, you have to take out that 512GB drive and put in yours. Models with 8GB RAM, like my older one, have internal eMMC flash and an empty M.2 slot. Back in the 2022 MeLE used a Intel AX201 Wi-Fi 6 chip. Now they install Wireless-AC 9560 in all models that I checked. They mumble about it being more stable, but I feel like it is not the true reason. In my installation, the old brick consistently sent 50 MB/s (400 Mbps) stream via 5 GHz 802.11ax connection. The new brick in the same exact conditions connects to 5 GHz 802.11ac and achieves only 20 MB/s. Good enough for me, but twice slower is not what you normally expect from 2 years of progress. Ubuntu installs and works perfectly.

I'm using this as a light duty web browser, file server, and to watch videos. I don't play games, or need Windows for any other reason, so I installed Fedora Linux 41. On my 4K monitor, running 2K video, the output was a little choppy on busy scenes. Using 2K resolution on the monitor solved that, I don't really need 4K output on a 28" monitor, and most videos I watch are 2K or even less. Possibly tweaking something will fix this issue, but I didn't attempt it. Taking off one star for that reason. Audio output from the headphone jack sounds fine but I only have it connected to bookshelf speakers via a small amp. Other than the resolution inconvenience, it works great. Linux install was painless, and so far flawless, although I am not using and have not tried wifi or bluetooth, so I can't say anything about those. As expected the case can get a little warm, the cores run on the hot side (50C idle, 60s watching 2K video, and I've seen 70s). As expected as well, and as far as I can tell, it makes no noise.

Loving this N100 Alder Lake! I have had several N3450's that were also fanless in the past and this thing is way better in terms of connectivity and CPU performance. The bios version on mine is version 09/03/2024 and by default top lid (which also serves as the CPU heatsink) doesn't really get that hot.... but that is because the default bios settings for it has the PL1 and PL2 set at 8watts and 10watts. Technically the default N100 CPU is supposed to be 10watts and 25watts but I am assuming the manufacture turned these settings down because there is no active cooling. If you do choose to overclock this CPU, the default settings of PL1=10watts and PL2=25watts seems to be almost too much for the passive/fanless heatsink but I am running mines atthe max PL1 settings of 15watts and PL2 max of 30watts, and it seems fine in my wood workshop currently (where ambient temperatures are freezing during the time of me writing this review). Another huge performance benefit of the N100 vs the N3450 is the that this can run 4k monitors at 60 frames which look VERY smooth in comparison to older miniPC's that can only do 4k@30fps. Overclocking wise.... it is slightly more complicared compared to the N3450 but results are the same where the wattages increase by double and the performance increases substantially.... in my opinion the default settings of 8watts is no where close to enough to being used normally for day to day tasks... but I am sure the manufacture has it set more on the safe side.

Product: MeLe Quieter 4C mini PC This is a nice little PC. It is absolutely silent since it has no cooling fans in it. It runs very warm. Almost hot. So I would be worried about its longevity. That high a temperature is inevitably damaging to the computer's internal components and any external peripherals one might attach to it (i.e. SD Card). Because of the heat, you need to be careful about placing this mini PC directly on your desk. It will damage the surface of your desk after a while. You can NOT plug this mini PC into a USB-C monitor for video and power through the same cable. You'll still need to plug the mini PC into a wall socket via the provided 12-volt, 2A power adapter. The MeLe Quieter 4C is a great idea that still needs some refinement.

After 7 months, valuable for Windows and Linux software. Reliable, Fanless, Silent, Compact Mele Mini PC Quieter PC 4C with Intel N100 + 16GB RAM + 512 GB SSD. Windows 11 Pro included on 256 GB soldered eMMC SSD. Easily upgradeable 256 GB M.2 2280 SSD ready to load an operating system like Linux. Displays 4K@60Hz on 4K HDTV for streaming YouTube or Sling. Many connectors. I think plenty fast for programming, web browsing, and streaming.

I have the quiter3c and it had several problem. I am happy to report most pressing issue are all fixed. The power coil whine during power cutoff has been fixed. It is no longer in the human audible range. When only powered by USB C monitor sleep power issue has been fixed. Usually when the monitor goes to sleep all the power will get cutoff resulting in the computer dying. No longer. Now the monitor can shutoff by itself and the computer is still powered to do its tasks. Really not much to pick about this computer. wifi is 5 instead of 6 but if you don't play online competitive games it doesn't matter. double ram, AV01 decoding, 30% general speed upgrade, very usable ROM by default, dustproof, zero desktop footprint once vesa mounted. Very good general desktop computer. As long as you don't play games it is pretty much the perfect desktop computer.

Absolutely brilliant little unit. This is replacing my old Acer Aspire 12 year old laptop running win 10 with a Q3610M I7 8 thread cpu.. I did a benchmark test and single threaded performance of the N100 is actually slightly faster than the Q3610M! if it was 8 threads it would be faster than my old I7.. crazy how good tech is now. Have this set up in my observatory and hasn't missed a beat - only thing I recommend doing is disable the USB power management in device manager otherwise Win 11 will turn off your USB devices to save power (found this out the hard way with a USB 3 2.5gbit ethernet adapter when it was dropping out after a while). Got an Arduino in one port, 2.5 gig adapter in another and then an 8 port usb 3 hub in the last port. Running SGP with PHD2 with zero issues - it just works! highly recommend this system

Love this little box, mine's currently sitting quietly in the cabinet under the TV, taking up almost no space, running Plex on Linux Mint. Handles all 1080p H264 movies I throw at it. It does struggle a bit with 4K H265, but I'd rather have the much smaller file size - 4K is really for those who like to play Top Trumps, IMHO. The box can run hot, but that's the price you pay for the size and lack of fan - the case is doing what it's supposed to do. It's been running reliably non-stop for a few years now, and has only hung once, which was my fault (a process died when I ran out of disk space). It may not be fast enough for some people, but general browsing, email, content consumption is very useable. I've not tried gaming on it, but then again I used to run Minecraft on an Atom based 1GB Samsung NC10 quite happily, so I'm not the kind of player that pushes kit to its limits trying to get every last FPS out of something. I would definitely buy again if this one died.

Preso come mini PC per astrofotografia riesce a far girare tutti i software necessari senza alcun problema. Lo utilizzo con Stellarium, Nina, Green swamp server, PHD2 attivi e non fa una piega. Sicuramente non adatto per fare foto/video ritocco o gaming, ma non è ovviamente pensato per questi scopi.
