Most scales these days have the display on the scale itself, making it very difficult to weigh things such as boxes or luggage. I use scales every day in my business & own 6 or 7 ranging from small postal units to 700lb freight scales. I was excited to test this unit for its small footprint, high capacity, and most of all, the wireless control unit. Sadly, this scale did not live up to any expectations. It's packaged very nicely & comes with clear operating instructions. However, running this unit on the 5 (non-alkaline) batteries that were included did not sustain power long enough for successful testing. Luckily, the kit also includes 2 power adapters. This will be the best way to try & obtain accurate results. I compared this unit against another one of my freight scales that is roughly the same size & capacity. My current scale is very accurate & has been calibrated against UPS's scales within 1 ounce. Out of the box, this scale is off an easy 5-6 ounces. However, when trying to calibrate (PRESSING MODE & TARE), the screen locks up & goes blank (see pic). I could not recover from this state. While the wireless feature is indeed the selling point here, I don't want any hassles interrupting workflow. Getting accurate weights is critical in my business & I don't want to have to worry about this scale going out of calibration or freezing. Also, it's useless if you have to use AC power on both the scale & the control unit. So, not going to be messing around with it. Back to my trusty scales with a corded control unit that I know are accurate.

This is a nice scale.  It is easy to set up and configure.  I also like that the controller is separate from the scale.  The scale and controller are battery operated.  This is a nice feature because I don't have to worry about the scale being next to an outlet.  The scale is easy to use and accurate.  It appears to be solidly constructed and durable.  A good choice for a scale that is a solid performer.

I like this scale.  We do a lot of shipping for my miniature painting commissions.  This scale was a nice find.  It does a good job of weighing my packages.  It is accurate and easy to work with.  The scale looks and feels like it is put together well and feels strong and sturdy.  A nice addition to my workshop that is made well and does a good job.
