This laundry cart is about as cheap as you could hope for. But it will work for my needs. The bags are a good size and feel like they may actually last. They surprisingly have steel handles! And they will be big enough to handle my week's clothes. I might should have gotten the four bag one, just to make the sort easier, but whatevs. I got the one with the lid, figuring that would be useful. Turns out, they did not reverse and repeat when they drilled the holes for it! Putting it together was super easy. They even sent more tools than were necessary for some reason. The 'arches' on either end have holes pre-drilled and one side is countersunk so that the screws don't protrude. You really can't put it together incorrectly without noticing. So, imagine my surprise when I was all done with assembly and went to put the lid on! :-D One hole was on the front and one on the back of the assembled rack. Not because I assembled it incorrectly. Rather, because they just stamped out tubes without thought to final assembly. If I turned one end around, it would render the countersunk hole, useless. Well, no big deal. I'll just drill a new hole. So I went to put a screw on the one hole that was correct, figuring I could use the other L bracket to mark the other hole for drilling. Guess what... the hole and the L bracket do not align. That means that I will need to modify it even more, just to make it work. Perhaps I will just use the lid for something else. It's kind of nice. Honestly, it wouldn't take much to correct these mistakes at the factory, but I don't get the sense they ever intended to make heirloom laundry baskets. Manage your expectations.

I had a difficult time deciding on the number of stars. One star seemed too harsh. Three seemed too generous for some flaws, so two stars for now. The price was the first thing that attracted me. I have seen similar products at other stores for well over $100, which is excessive. For that money, it should sort, wash, and fold the laundry. This product was over 50% less than comparable products, but there may be a reasons for that. I wanted four bags, but I only have room for three. And I like the ironing board on top, which the four-bag model did not have (at least not here). So, why two stars? 1. It took almost an hour to assemble. It would have taken one-half the time but for either a design flaw/machining error/packaging error. When assembling it, it appears the the side frames should be placed with the screw hold indentations facing out, so that the screw is relatively flush with the frame when screwed in. The problem with that is the holes for the bar that supports the ironing board end up at opposite ends; they are not aligned. (This is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions that I could find). I am quite possibly the least mechanically inclined person I know, so it never occurred to me to check and make sure all the holes lined up correctly. This meant taking apart the frame and facing one side frame with the screw indentations out and one side frame facing in, which cannot be right. Therefore, it is either a design flaw, the holes were drilled incorrectly, or I was sent two of the same side frames, rather than opposites. 2. Throw the tools away that are included with the product. It is difficult to generate enough torque to screw in the posts; just use your favorite Phillips head screwdriver. The wrench does not fit any of the nuts included with or on the product; just toss it (along with the tool for screwing the bars to the frame). 3. When you do screw the bars in place, you can get greater stability with a conventional Phillilps head screwdriver, but make sure you do not strip the screws. I have only just received the product, so I will get back to you if I experience any of the other issues documented here (e.g., wheels breaking off; torn bags; stripped screws).

The hamper in and of itself is good for one to two people who don’t have very thick clothing. I’m a single guy so it fit my needs, now, the very crucial downside of this hamper. One, its very cheaply made, I’m talking hallow and thin aluminum pipes I broke and bend one by accidentally stepping on it. Two, The ironing board on top is made of pressed wood with screws in it, the pressed wood around the screw just gave up after about 7-8 months. Three, and the very very annoying issue with this hamper bags are the hooks, they are magnets for every and anything around it. They literally get caught in everything!!! Taking one out of the trunk got caught up in the weather strip of the trunk. Made a gash, that gash caused a leak during heavy rain during a whole day and then the car sat in the sun another day as it was some days I was off and not using the car, and my trunk got soaked and ruined with this horrid mildew/mold smell I have not been able to fully eliminate yet. Spare yourself and just go with the hampers that don’t use the hooks on the bar, they’re just a tad more and will save you the obnoxious headache every time you try and do laundry.
