Perfect Fit, high quality
The MANN filters fit my Audi A7 and A5 perfectly. You know they are seated when they "pop" into place. This item comes with the 2 O-ring gaskets that should be replaced along with the filter.I have difficulty finding MANN at my local auto parts stores. It is nice to know I can find them on Amazon AND verify I have the right item to fit my car.

Correct Audi Oil filter
I have seen reviews on here giving this a bad review because of a plastic mesh insert inside the filter and I wanted to clarify that it's supposed to be there!The factory filter that was installed by the dealer on my 2014 S5 had the OE dealer part number as well as Mann HU 7029 printed on it (see pic) and it had the plastic insert in the center of the filter.Mann is the OE supplier for filters for VAG. If you purchased a filter without that insert I would be concerned as it is probably inferior to this one.BTW the pic I added is of the OE Audi factory filter to show it was identical to the one I purchased here except for the Audi part number on it.

Always use Mann on my imports It would be nice if they included a new compression washer for the drain plug...

No problems
I've done a couple oil changes with these on my SQ5, and no issues. Not sure there's much more to expect out of an oil filter. They seem to be good quality, and come with the o-rings that should be replaced. I'll continue to buy them here on Amazon.

Works great ‘14 A6 3.0T
Have used almost a dozen or so of these, changing oil every 5K for the last 50k miles, so now at 100K miles on our 2014 Audi A6 3.0T 6-cylinder supercharged engine (spelling it all out so in case people are confused on their engine). Works great, no engine problems or lack of performance.Seems completely OEM, even one purchased just as of May 2021, no weird plastic inserts or anything like someone else commented (probably a third party seller swapping in a counterfeit). Comes with the two necessary gaskets to replace each time you swap the filter so don’t forget to install those.
