Great Surge Protector
Excellent product!!! Protected my pool equipment many times now from surges and still works. Light is still green!!! I will buy this surge protector again.

Easy to install if you have some minimal electrical knowledge.
I purchased this for my variable speed pool pump. I reside in central Florida and my house has been struck by lighting twice in two years. Both times the pool pump has fried. Now that I have this device installed, my house probably will not get hit by lighting again but I am ok with that...having this device as an insurance policy.I wish I had this device installed earlier...It could have save me thousands of dollars in new pool pumps.

Cheap insurance for you high $ pool pump
Easy to hook up. Green light let's u know it's on. If you are wondering how it works like I was, it seems that this unit will sense a surge faster than the surge can travel (to the thing it's protecting example pool pump) and trip the breaker (protecting whatever) before it gets there. I have not had it trip yet, but I think it's cheap insurance for my new $900 dollar pool pump.

Here's hoping it performs as advertised with reasonable longevity. Easy to install. In five years I will know how well it protects sensitivedigital circuits. These devices degrade as part of the protection process, and this one has a green LED indicator that shows when it hasdied
