Mr. Pen- Bible Journaling Set (Selah Collection)

For the new year, I wanted to try a different approach to reading and studying my Bible, and this journaling set has been such a beautiful addition to my routine. It’s helped me slow down, be more intentional, and really reflect on what I’m reading instead of just rushing through it. Everything in this set feels thoughtfully put together. The pens and supplies are high quality, the colors are soft and calming, and nothing feels cheap. I love that it encourages creativity while still keeping the focus on Scripture. It makes my quiet time feel more special and something I actually look forward to each day. This has been especially helpful for highlighting verses, taking notes, and writing prayers or reflections. It’s made my Bible time more engaging and meaningful, and I’ve noticed I’m retaining more of what I read. I also think this would make a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys journaling, Bible study, or wants to deepen their faith in a creative way. Whether you’re new to Bible journaling or have been doing it for a while, this set is very easy to use and inspiring. Overall, I’m so glad I purchased this. I personally LOVE this kit! Though not everything in it would've been my first choice, I've been using this since I got it and I absolutely, LOVE it! I love that it comes with a pencil case. I've been searching high and low for the perfect one and this is perfect for all of the things they give you! I want to talk about the different aspects as someone very particular about what I use in my bible! Tabs: I am not a huge fan of bible tabs in general so I didn't use them! However, they do have blank ones in the package and I use them to mark off places in my bible that I want to go to frequently! Sticky Tabs I bought smaller round sticky tabs from Mr. Pen a few weeks prior to getting these and loved them! So when I saw this kit had it I was very happy! I do use sharpies on these sticky tabs though because it dries the fastest with no smudging! Highlighters: I didn't realize these were gel highlighters until after I opened the package. Fortunately, these are not super pigmented or smudgey. I honestly am not a fan of gel highlighters for many reasons, especially the fact that I am unable to circle words or underline phrases after highlighting, but I've been using these nonstop! Cross clips: Cross clips are so adorable, I use them in my journal as well! They are great for marking pages, holding notes or paper, and just looking pretty. Washy Tape: I am not one to use washy tape a whole lot. However, this washy tape isn't over the top. I use it to make a point stand out or to title the beginning of a note I am taking. I also thought they'd be good for writing definitions of words down or meanings of names. Pens: The work, lol! They are pretty for sure, not much to say other than that! They are great pens.

This is an excellent, thoughtful collection of Bible journaling supplies. Here's where the collection missed a star for me: - The gel pens will absolutely show through on Bible paper. - The ink-flow of the pens is sometimes choppy, breaking up writing ever so slightly. I only have this issue when I write in cursive, not manuscript, so this would likely not be an issue for everyone. - While I love the concept of the no-show highlighters, and they go on VERY smooth, they are a wax highlighter, not ink. This comes with trade-offs. Sometimes, you get more wax than you bargained for (think if you were writing with crayon). - Because the tip of the highlighters is so thick, it's hard to highlight just one line of the tiny print in most Bibles. For those with large-print, this will likely not be an issue. Now here's what I loved: - The concept of the translucent sticky notes is amazing. I love that I can use these and still read the actual text of my Bible. (The included marker does work on these, but I think fine-print sharpies would also work. Either way, give a few seconds to dry before running your finger over them). - The cross paperclips?! Are you kidding me?? So cute, and very high quality, and I would love to be able to purchase just these for my friends! - The pens are stunning and as long as you write in manuscript (print), you likely won't have any issues (see above). - The pencil pouch is thoughtfully designed, with storage pockets along the lining for all your items, taking this pouch to the next level by keeping your collection organized once it comes out of the packaging (not simply offering storage). - The highlighters do not show through and glide like butter, for the most part (see above). A few neutral comments: - The clip of the pen is cute and aesthetically pleasing but awkward in terms of function with its twist. - The color spectrum doesn't offer much variety, but plenty of other Mr. Pen products do, so consider that before selecting this collection. - The sticky notes do require time to dry if you are writing on them, even with the included marker, but with the given material I expected this, so it wasn't a miss for me. Just something to note.

Love using these on my bible! Great product!

I really love this kit. Everything is perfect but the black marker pen 0.8 MM works great on transparent note 3x3. And it don’t smear but all the others do smear. I wish I can get more of those black pen that you see there in the picture, but I don’t seem to find it. I did try to contact him and they said that when it comes in the kit, sometimes they don’t have that pen marker very sad. I would’ve got a lot more but enjoy the kit because I really love the kit is great for my Bible, God bless y’all.

Absolutely love this entire kit! From the black pen (which writes perfectly on the transparent sticky notes) to the neutral highlighters to the pens which write effortlessly, I could rave about this kit all day! It’s the perfect thing to buy if you are looking to get started in Bible journaling. It has everything you need! It also would make a beautiful gift to someone! Highly recommend it

Great kit to journal, but the highlights are crayon and not marker so hard to write on it

Love this kit. The only issues I have are that the ink pens with the smooth barrel skip a bit and are hard to hold onto, I wish it was a grippier surface on the pens. Maybe it’s down to how I hold my pen. There are six of them, they are beautiful barrel colors and all have black ink. I think they are 0.7 mm. The other not so perfect item are the bible tabs. They are all in a tiny bag mixed up and there is no placement guide with the kit. Other than those two minor issues I highly recommend this kit.

The case had stuff on it, the washer tape doesn’t even stick, the tabs are TERRIBLE! They are so sticky that you can’t even fix them once they catch onto the paper the slightest bit it’s over that’s where it’s staying and the words are not on the other side like most tabs.
