I love this bookshelf for my daughter, but also bought another one from amazon that is a similar size. If you prefer forward facing books the other one might be better for you. I was looking for a book caddy in this style. I almost bought a more expensive one from a high end retailer but decided to give this one a shot. It is sturdy and well made and I'm pretty happy with it. The only thing is, the slit openings in the wood are rather wide given how short most children's books are and if your books end up over the gaps they will slip and fall through the openings. Annoying design flaw that could have been avoided by making those gaps narrower. But overall, it meets my needs and blends with our decor well.

I wanted a small bookcase to replace bins I had on the floor. This is to keep track of library books so i wanted it separate from everything else as well as Easy to browse. The down side of this bookcase is that books will fall through the cracks when they have the covers facing forward. My son is always wanting to look at them that way so I ended up lining it was cardboard to keep books from falling. (See photo) it still looks fine and I am happy with it.

It took me two weeks + 15 minutes to put together. Two weeks for me to worry about putting it together and15 minutes to actually do it! Needless to say, I am a novice. So, trust me, if I can assemble it by myself, so can you! Only for my little grandson would I have even attempted this. I am impressed with the quality. Very happy with this product.

If you’re thinking it’s the same as the Crate&Barrel one it is but with a horrible quality finish. Just spend the money and get theirs. Ended up returning this in hopes of saving some money. The finish is extremely rough and you can see the wood grain and uneven application of the finish. It’s no good.

Love this cute little shelf!!! Works perfectly in my daughters room. Honestly I thought it would be bigger but I blame myself because I didn’t look at the dimensions. It’s so cute and sturdy and easy to put together.

This bookshelf is perfect for our toddler's large collection of books (for reference, we ordered two, and his large collection takes up both shelves). I like it that the shelf is relatively compact and very attractive in his nursery, and he likes it that he can reach all his books by himself. This is BY FAR the best children's bookshelf I've found, and I will definitely be ordering more as his book collection grows.

Cute shelf that looks great in our family room. Holds about 40-50 books. Easy to put together, no off-putting smells from materials/paint.My only complaint is that the shelf underneath is very short. I wanted to put 2 baskets underneath to hold more books but there’s not enough room.
