Stereo Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4 PS4, Over-Ear Headphones With Mic and LED Lights for Xbox One, PC, Laptop (Red)

Had the product for about a week, using it as a PS4 and PC gaming headset. The product looks pretty great out of the box. It feels not too heavy but not too light either. The pull down extension part of the headphone doesn't feel flimsy and the whole thing sits pretty nicely on my head. My head is a little big and the headphone just about covers everything nicely. It doesn't reach down as far past the bottom of my ear as the official PS4 ones, but it does reach below my earlobes. The microphone extends out and feels solid, I am not worried about it potentially snapping at all. The light up for the USB looks good, but I don't really use it cause I like to move around with the controller when on the PS4. The cable range is pretty lenient though if you do want to have it light up while you play, looks like it can extend about 4 feet from where you plug it in. The noise canceling is really good, it actually makes it a little difficult to hear my own voice at times during the middle of a game. It is a little different than what I am used to and I have to remind myself to not shout and that I am already speaking at a proper volume. The audio output is great, I hear my friends and game audio clearly whether through PS4 or Skype. My friends reported the mic sounding a little low at first, but adjusting the mic settings on the PS4 resolved that pretty quickly. All in all I am pretty happy with this product so far since it costs a fifth of my PS4 ones and seems to perform just as well. Time will tell how it will hold up in terms of durability.

Im going to be honest here. When I first bought this headset, my first thought is that it would have a fault to it. But this headset magnificently proved me wrong! The headset is nice. I got the red LED colored headset which is an excellent color in my opinion. The build quality is perfect, the headset of course is plastic, but its beautiful design makes it look flawless to many peoples eyes. The headset came with a splitter cable to transfer the headset jack into separate microphone and headphone jacks, which is an awesome deal considering that splitters usually cost 5$ alone! The headset works wonderfully with my Plugable USB adapter as well, which is all I was hoping for! Now lets talk about the quality of the headset. The headset have beautiful sound quality. I think the headsets sound quality is better than a pair of expensive headsets! The mic works fantastically! So great that I've began to use it for commentary on my YouTube videos! And believe me! The microphone quality is beautiful! The headphones work comfortably on my head for countless hours as I game, and I feel no ear irritations while playing! The headset has a very soft and comfortable ear-cups that are quite durable! The headsets cord is very long! Which is good for cable management! The cord is also durable aswell! This headset doesn't have any big faults to it. Other than the fact that the USB LED cord is short, making it difficult to use. But I can still use it, because a have a USB deck. Overall this headset is perfect for gamer's who want to use their money wisely and have a quality setup!

*used primarily with PS4* It's a very good headset that helped dampened other sounds in the room while playing on my PS4. Sound from the game was very clear and sounded like it was a 5.1 stereo in a good job. Chat with friends while gaming worked just fine with the plug put directly into the PS4 controller. No issues found yet (only had this a couple days so far). Note: the USB portion of the cord is WAY too close to the cord's splitter from the audio jack (see photo). So if you're connecting to a game controller, you'll have this extra cable dangling close to your hands and is REALLY annoying (I strap them together with the USB close to the audio jack, just to keep things together and not so distracting). I tried this on my PC, and on the back of the desktop, I could NOT connect both the audio and USB cables at the same time - as my desktop is a custom build and pretty tall in the back with a lot of space between the audio and nearest USB connection. May work on your computer's configuration - just note that there isn't a lot of space to use. I was able to get it to work with a speaker controller on my desk that has a headphone jack and using a USB extension cable to reach that controller. So - I take a star off for poor cord design with that USB connector being so close and the cord splitting section not being able to be adjusted to allow more space between the cords (or just remove the USB portion is needed). Glow: very nice and very bright! I am able to power it just fine using a surge protector (with a USB port) that I have by my couch and a standard long headphone cable to the stereo. Fortunately, the length of the full headset cable reaches the flow to me sitting back on a tall and deep couch. My only negative is that USB cord being so close to the audio jack and not enough cord separation to get it out of your way when you're not using it.

I've had this product for a few weeks now, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I read the other reviews before making the decision to buy. I use this headset for gaming on my PS4 by plugging it directly into my controller. Hands down, this is a great headset for the price. First of all, it works as advertised. It has an in-line volume control dial and mic mute switch. The volume dial is kind of sensitive, meaning sometimes I accidentally lower or raise the volume as it rubs against my sweater, but it seems to have good range (not like a slight adjustment makes all the sound go away or come back). The Mute switch is pretty tough, gotta push it kind of hard to switch on and off, which is fine for me. The thing lights up when you plug it into a USB slot, but USB power is not required to hear sound or use the mic. The 1/8th inch stereo/mic plug works great with my PS4 Controller, and the headset comes with an adapter if you need to have two 1/8th plugs (one for audio output, other for audio input) rather than the integrated 1/8th stereo with mic plug. I have not tested to see if the USB is a sound device thingy yet (I'll update the review when I do this). As far as comfortable factors... it feels a little tight on my ears, but not overly so. A lot heavier than the ear buds I used before, but much more durable than earbuds. Has a long cord, so I keep it mostly tied up so I don't trip over it. Microphone performance seems good. I have not received any complaints from other players in game about my mic being too soft or too loud or distorted. I like the fact that the mic boom is not right in your face. If you're on the fence, or trying to save money, this is a really good deal and I don't think you'd be disappointed.

I already had a pair like this before, and the effect was amazing! I'm so glad that I finally found them! When playing, it's suitable for both games and chatting, which is really great!

UPDATE After some adjustment of the settings on the PS4 menu I got both ears to work...Its GOOD for the price. GREAT SOUND!. Again I feel these are best for PC users and designed for such. Yes they work in the Ps4 controller...But the USB which powers the LED in the headset WONT work unless your sitting with the actual PS4 in your lap! Other than that I played COD for hours with them and they really enhance the game experience. I think I jumped the gun with my initial review... But overall yeah..Great Buy! Lets say this... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAYED FOR! Just received these headphones to use with my PS4. Audio is ONLY coming out of one ear, The headphones DO NOT light up unless there plugged into a USB source (meaning PC only) and the Volume in the 1 ear turned up to the max is insanely LOW! In a nutshell...Buy a better pair because THESE ARE HORRIBLE!

The USB connection is only for the lights. No reason to have lights, you can't see them when you have them on your head. Kinda pointless. I found them to be just OK. Nothing to WOW me at all. The sound was a bit flat. There was not any crisp highs or lows to really get excited which is why I only gave it 3 stars. They do work, we are just in the era of USB sound devices. I do not know many people who use their sound card analog out for headphones. My son tried them on his XBOX ONE and said they were ok. Worked, but said would be a good backup if the other should fail. The included Y adapter converts the PS4/XBOX connection to be used on a PC. Breaks out to MIC and headphone. (pictured below). I created a video which explains everything as well. These would be perfect for a LAN party and leave your expensive headphones home. They can take a beating and still work. The microphone worked pretty good. However, with AGC turned on it as very sensitive and loud. Picked up ambient sounds. I recommend keeping that off. I also recommend using this with a USB sound device.

My son uses these with the Xbox One and the adaptor does not affect the quality. You can also use it for a PC, smartphone, and tablet.
