I’ve always loved Charles Stanley, and bought his book to give out, Finding Peace, at least a dozen times. I thought it was my favorite book on earth until I got this one this Trump‘s every book I’ve ever read! If you are struggling on your journey and you truly want to find God, this book explains everything that you need to know and it’s lined up with the Bible so beautifully! Highly recommended!! Purchasing it again for my daughter.

This is a really great book! Charles Stanley is so on point both biblically and with how he writes! This book is filled with great advice, inspiration and insight. I treasure Dr Stanley’s books as they are so filled with wisdom, knowledge and hope! This one is a great addition to my library!

I’ve read this book at least five times in the last two years while I’m still suffering a mystery illness. An undiagnosed illness that has put my life in almost a complete standstill of constant pain and misery. Charles Stanley has taught me that having the right attitude is of primary importance while going thru the long drawn out storms in life. This is a category 5 that I’m going thru now, but Dr. Stanley has shown me that God is working in my trial and He has a reason for me going thru it. The waiting is the hardest part, but I trust that Romans 8:28 is a trustworthy promise. Thank you Dr. Stanley for the great insight, encouragement and hope you have inspired in me thru this book.

This book was very insightful. Even you are not currently having any problems, this book is just a reminder that you always have Christ on your side.

Dr. Charles Stanley teaches how to overcome the adversities we face, draw near to God and find our way forward beyond the circumstances that may be directly before us. Overall, the book is well written, spiritually sound, and grounded in wisdom. I believe it would be better with a few more choice stories to breathe life into the message being communicated. Further, I think there should be greater clarification between surrendering to God versus confronting the issues we are facing. But, overall, a very deep and thought provoking book that will inspire you to draw near to God, bear his voice and respond in simple obedience to his voice.

I have read excerpts by Charles Stanley and always found them inspirational. When I was looking for something to help me understand letting go of my problems and giving them up to God, I naturally thought of Charles Stanley. This book is written in a clear and simple, but not patronizing way. The use of bible references and familiar stories make it a little bit devotional as well as instructional. I never found it dry or boring, though I sometimes thought to myself that I really should have known what he was saying already. Sometimes we all need guidance. Charles Stanley offers excellent guidance in this book.

Great book . Has a lot of answers to life problems. I am grateful that I have read this book.
