The product has overall sturdiness but absolutely lacks cushioning. More height would have been preferable. Both problems can be resolved with additional cushioning.

At first look, I absolutely love this car seat. I am primarily comparing this one to the r for rabbit convertible seat (0-7yrs). I was truly apprehensive about my purchase whn i didnt find any reviews of this seat (luvlap cozy) anywhere. But took a chance and ... Wow!! Im extreeemely happy!Pros-- (ultra) thick padding in the insert. padded base cushion (better than r for rabbit)-Crotch cushion sealed in place with velcro and is easily removable for wash-Styrofoam block under the seat- i was initially doubtful if i needed to remove it before use but some research showed that they are used in high end seats abroad too and act to reduce the impact. It is held in place by the surrounding structures so there is no risk of it dislodging the child in a crash (except mayb it breaks apart which inturn acts to reduce the impact). Eps foam also lines the entire seat beneath the cover.- there is also a removable sponge placed under the cushion which i suspect is used for an infant to lie comfortably in the rearward position. It can be removed for a child seated upright (pic of sponge inserted)- can be used in rearward seating (safest) position till 13kgs.-Washable cover-3 position recline-Gives a good boost of height so child can see outside the car-Armrest-Sturdy and strong plastic baseCons (im struggling to find them)- will need atleast 10mins to lock the seat into the car as i have to remove the styrofoam and insert the seatbelt into a lock under the seat cushions (barely a negative- more of a good thing as the seat belt will be locked well into position) ..follow the instructions provided- Head rest is tied into position. The position in the pic is the highest position for the headrest..- may be little difficult to assemble after wash because of the foam lining. But some time taken once in a while is worth it in my opinion.Will update after using several times if there is anything further to add.As for now, this may be slightly more expensive compared to the r for rabbit convertible seat but it is definitely worth it! The cushioning and material quality are excellent! May not come upto graco or chicoo mark but it is definitely worth the price especially when we buy it on discount. I would suggest to go for this one over r for rabbit any day! This seat deserves more recognition!Edit- i do wish the extra headrest cushion could be more adjustable. Now i just remove it when i feel its not required like on smooth roads n short trips when child (toddler) wont fall asleep.-Not so hard to assemble after wash.-At 2 years my child reached a stage wherein he could remove the shoulder straps(cant unlock yet. Only shoulder straps especially if i dont put it tightly enough). So i bought a chest clip seperately from firstcry to hold the belt in place. He doesnt knw to remove that yet.- I also wish the 2nd position (reclination in forward facing) was a little more reclined. The present position 2 isnt significant enough to ensure the head doesnt fall forward. I dont know if other car seats have more reclination option. I also noticed it varies from car to car depending on the inclination of the seat of the car- i also bought a rearview mirror to see my child(forward facing) . Its a great boon especially during longer trips. (Personally i cant sit in the back for long) Got it from firstcry. Size may seem small at first but its actually perfect for use.Please note this is a review for luvlap "cozy" convertible car seat. It does NOT have isofix and is attached using seat belt.

We've been putting our son in a car seat since ever. This will be his third seat keeping up with his increasing height. He had started to get very fussy in the previous one and I suspected it was because it didn't offer enough thigh support and also because it's seat belts originated from a little below his shoulder level as he grew. That obviously may have been crunching him and straining his spine. We simply had to graduate him to a larger seat as he is a taller kid now.This new seat is just the stuff we needed to have him love his car drives again. He walks in and sits on the seat on his own for the first time ever and with enthusiasm. He is almost 3 and taller for his age. While the cushioning isn't as thick as one would expect it to be, I think it's adequate and allows his body to breathe. I love the height adjustments we can make. This will fit him untill he graduates out of it completely. My only grouse is that this seat does not have a reclining function and that makes his head slump when he goes off to sleep while being strapped in. So we're now looking for a head restraint system for a sleeping kid. It's not necessarily a problem with this seat. That's how all these seats are mostly. Better safe then sorry.Highly recommend this for your kiddo. Happy road tripping.

Be ready to take it to a local shop and add padding (1.5 inch foam is apt). Once you add the padding, the child is comfortable with a good view. If you are not willing to spend that time and energy, please do not buy it. There is absolutely no cushioning and still surprised as to why some one will make a booster seat without any padding.

Seat is comfortable for our child. Installation takes some time, as it's based on seatbelts. But, we've never removed it afterwards.Getting child in and out is easy enough. Needed some practice at first though.One issue (reduction in 1 star) is because the bottom is not as large as we expected. Child can't see outside from window by default. We had to put in some Jugaad to put a pillow below him to make that happen.Otherwise, good looks, seems comfortable, easy to use. My kid never seemed to have any comfort complains so far.

Isofix is the best part here... I didn't buy a car seat for almost 2 years since I couldn't find isofix carseat in the market !! Luvlap satisfied our long wait... The product quality is too and the cushion is very soft ... I always wanted the best for my child.. and I'm glad I chose the bestest in the market !! Car seat is a must buy afterall it is our child safety !! Go for it guys !! Worth every penny
