The original I received was a lemon. Upon receiving a replacement, it works as nicely as expected.The spins last for around 8-10 seconds and is satisfying to use.---- Upon opening I am immediately dissapointed.The ring only spins for 2-5 seconds while scratching pretty loudly. (See video)The ring itself feels weighty and the metal frame is nice but this is pretty much useless as a fidget toy as it is way too loud and the spin is more agitating than relaxing- A replacement has been sent since mine was likely a defective product. Will update again once received.

I was very impressed with this unique spinner. To start, the overall design, materials and finish are great. It is solid made and the metallic orange gold finish looks amazing. This spinner is much easier to use and manipulate with one hand that traditional spinner designs. It’s smaller, low profile set up makes for a great every day carry option and fits virtually unnoticed into your pocket. The outer shell is easily removed with the provided tool, and the inner ring can be used as a small spinner by itself. This does not have the same weight or gyro motion to it as normal spinners designs, so it is not going to have as long a spin time. But, that is not it’s design intent. The shipping on the item was very fast and the sellers customer service was great. I would highly recommend this as an EDC spinner and will purchase a second if other color options become available.

The Apex Fidget Ring is a fun unique spinner. I have a collection of over 75 and this is the first spinner I can put on my finger and spin. I just love it. It arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition even with a little chocolate and note. I like to put it on my thumb, my biggest digit, it stays in place as I spin it with my index finger. I enjoy the tiny noise it makes too. I love the color!

Apex Fidget Ring is awesome! I've been hunting for a new ring spinner since mine broke a month ago and this one is perfect! It's small and quiet so it doesn't disturb my classmates which is a bonus. I hope you guys keep making these spinners they really help students with ADHD.

Claims that this spinner is quiet must have gotten another version than the one I got. It basically grinds loudly for about 6 seconds and stops. That is right out of the box. Close inspection of the bearings while rotating shows that the component holding the bearings wobbles. I can hear it hit something every rotation internally. So it is either bent, or just poorly made. This no doubt contributes to the noise. I cannot stand it myself, I cannot imagine someone sitting beside me would tolerate it for more than a few seconds.Very disappointed, I will be returning it since based on the other glowing reviews I must have gotten a defective one.-- I modified my rating since it is entirely possible I got a faulty unit.

Spins super smooth, very high quality and has a nice weight to it. I love the little whirring noise it makes!

Being able to have it on one finger is kind of cool since I can pay less attention to it at work. However, bearing seems to need a little bit work. It's a little scratchy and loud.After tinkering around with it a bit seems like the bearing is aligned. Sometime I can get it to go okay, other times it stops after two seconds. It's always loud.
