I spent an exorbitant amount of time looking at reviews for studio monitor stands (I’m a blast at parties) and ultimately decided to give these a go. I wasn’t expecting to have my mind blown-after all, they’re just metal platforms that grip a desk, right? Wrong. Everything about these monitor stands is well thought out. The 4” clamp isn’t a gimmick. These things are nicely padded and feel far more secure than the 2” and 1” clamps most accessories use. Size does matter, folks. The speaker platforms are also nicely padded and include your choice of long or short-side support ledges to match your chosen speaker orientation. Super easy to assemble without tools (just nicely coated wing nuts!), and the clamp and pin system for adjusting the height of the platforms is both secure and durable. The pins are grooved so that the sliding height adjustment pole notches into them securely, while the tightening knob used a rounded component that grips the pole rather than just pushing a screw into it. This both protects the finish and means a higher-friction fit. Finally, these stands feel very sturdy, they work great with my JBL speakers, angle precisely where I need them, and aren’t going anywhere. Throw in the fact that they’re made by a small, US business, and you can’t beat the price. Outstanding value-buy these ones!

I bought these Liquid Stands studio monitor stands for $80 and have been using them for ~3 weeks with my JBL 305P MkII monitors. Mine are clamped to the sides of my desk, and they've been a big upgrade for dialing in my speaker placement as well as freeing up some desk space. Pros: -Excellent adjustability and versatility. Height plus left/right swivel and up/down tilt makes it easy to aim the speakers exactly where you want. -Platform is plenty large. The JBL 305P MkIIs fit with room to spare. -Cushioned platform. Helpful for reducing vibrations. I've added thicker foam isolation pads on top, but it's nice that cushioning is built in. -Very stable once tightened. They are hefty with a good weight to them, and the construstion feels very solid. After everything in in place, the stands feel locked in place and don't wobble or accidentally adjust during normal desk use, even with leg bouncing. Con: -Plan desk layout if you use an ultrawide. With a big monitor you'll want enough desk space on both sides to position the stands where you want them since the platform is rather large. In my setup the tweeters sit slightly above ear height in a seated position (~21 inches from the desk surface) and I use a slight downward tilt. They are a bit pricey at $80 but the quality definately reflects the price. It's clear the company cares about the product and even included some extras including; a thank you card with team member and a few stickers with some interesting designs (see photo). Bottom line is these are sturdy highly adjustable clamp-on stands that make it easy to position monitors correctly. Easy recommendation if your desk layout has the space.

I’ve bought speaker stands and risers over the years and these have to be the absolute best. Well protected with layers of foam and wrapping, and shockingly hefty in a good way. There are other stands that follow this same style and form factor, but the competitors tend to be thin aluminum or have weak tension knobs. Not these; these are solid. I appreciate that the stands let you adjust for deeper or wider speakers depending on your needs, and the ability to add a 10 or 20 degree angle to hit your optimum listening angle is great. Even without adjusting the angle there is a natural balance at zero, so you won’t feel like your OCD is demanding you adjust things every so slightly because of a perceived imbalance. Down to the tiniest of details, I also appreciate that the desk clamps have a soft padding on both clamp faces, so you’re not likely to do any damage to your desk or table. Even got some stickers included, and I’m a sucker for stickers. All around amazing product that does what it intends to do, and does it well. The instructions also add a cheeky message for drummers by way of the installation time. Either take it to mean drummers know how things get assembled and can do so quickly, orrrr have a few extra beers during the time. All told it took about 15 minutes to assemble and mount both stands.

I needed to securely hold my near-field studio monitors and keep my desk uncluttered. I also trialed some K&M stands (also very high-quality), but these were a better fit for my application. I'm really impressed with the design and manufacturing quality. The base is a solid 1/4" steel plate, the clamp is sturdy/secure, the tray has a 1/4" rubberized mat, the adjustment knobs are easy to set securely, power-coated steel from what I can tell. Fantastic value and probably far better than most stands here on Amazon (or anywhere, really). Based on the inserts in the packaging, Liquid Stands looks like an independent business that's focused on designing and building well-made products. Next time I need an equipment stand or rack, I'll check their products first.

My desk is pushed up pretty close to the wall in a narrow room and doesn’t have much flexibility to be pulled back. These stands don’t work at all in this scenario because they need like 4-6 inches behind the desk. I was able to tweak them to sorta work for me by using the bolts that are supposed to be used to attach the front lip plate to attach the plate to the arm instead. This allows them to be used close to the wall (with a light weight speaker), but I lose the ability to mount the lip or tilt the angle at all. If these were slightly redesigned to have more bolts on the bottom they would be a lot more flexible in the mounting options. Actually, I was a bit disappointed they use fixed bolts on the plate, rather than holes because it means I can’t add my own holes to mount the plate however I’d like. So yeah, nice and solid stands that would be great if you don’t have your desk against a wall. Lots of room for improvement though.

Super sturdy, high quality, and easy to set up.

Usually when you order some sort of stand, shelf, table, or structure from here, you get a couple raw pieces of *a* material, some screws, some bolts, a stamped metal wrench, and bad instructions on how to put it all together. I was so happy to see that these came 95% assembled. All you have to do is use the included high-quality wing nuts to secure the lip to the base, and then the base to the stand. Then it's time to attach the stands to your surface via the massive clamp (that's a good thing) and optionally adjust the height and angle of the monitors. They look great, they have the right amount of adjustability, and there are stops in place to keep them at the height and angle you set them to. They will not be moving again unless I want them to. The padding on the bases is a really nice touch to help isolate the monitor's vibrations from reaching the rest of the surface. I mounted a pair of Yamaha HS8 monitors, which are pretty big. It fits them perfectly. Considering these were in-line with a lot of obviously inferior monitor stands, price-wise, I feel like they're a tremendous value. Way better than I was hoping for, and I'm just really impressed with what I got for the money.

I've been through three different clamp-on studio monitor stands for my HS8s, and *Liquid Stands* has been a standout. Here’s the breakdown: 1. **Vondynote Stand** - Disappointing stability. The stand was wobbly, often tilting to one side, which made me feel like my monitors were at risk. I couldn't trust it to keep my setup safe. 2. **Gator Stand** - Slightly better than the Vondynote in stability and stayed more level, but I still had concerns. Its larger clamp surface offered minor improvements but didn’t eliminate the wobbling. For the higher price, I expected better. 3. **Liquid Stands** - *Exactly what I was hoping for.* These stands are rock-solid, with an impressively sturdy build. The clamp base is much larger, which keeps everything stable and in place. They address every issue I had with the others and give me total confidence in the safety of my monitors. If you’re tired of wobbly, unreliable stands, the Liquid Stands are absolutely worth it.

Bought these stands after researching so many others. I have now had them for over a year and they have not moved at all since installing. They are the best on the market and look amazing too! My go to for studio stands always!!

Not installed at the moment. But taken out of box and assessed. Very high quality heavy feel, very well constructed and a premium feel and look. Just got to buy the speakers they were intended for. Hopefully my desk at home for college will be awesome when listening to music while doing hours of study for my undergraduate Fine art and art history
