The media could not be loaded.  what a great job they've done with cable management and the air hose. I like how well the laser light is blocked by the frame and head. it's definitely 4 times powerful then my homemade ten Watt beside it. it'll go much faster then in the video, that was one of my first projects with my falcon 40 Watt. I have no complaints, I do wish the head would go faster when using the built in buttons, and that's probably possible to change with a g code, I haven't dug into that yet. quite happy so far. if they'd put wireless in it, it would be unreal. I use a virtual here server on a raspberry pi, which works for most things. the fire sense works well too lol. like every new toy you have to see what it can do, like cut 5/8 plywood, too much air and it will light on fire and quite well, but the alarm went off and it moved the head out of the way and it probably would of gone out in it's own. caused by me the user, but still friggin cool feature. just need to build a light burn camera holder for it now.

So this 1.6W data cable turned out to include the replacement laser module! This has to have been mis-listed though, as the price was about 25% of retail. In any case, this dropped right in to my original CR-Laser Falcon 10W system, with no changes needed in lightburn other than speed & power. On that note, it hit a sweet-spot on basswood with clear and sharp lines at 750mm/m and 80% power and 1000mm/m @ 100% power. While the visible spot seemed to have a much larger halo than my 10W head, the actual line seemed just as sharp. Focal distance seemed to be generally consistent with the focusing block used for the 10W module, but generated the sharpest lines at the lowest focus block offset.There is no option to attach an air assist, so the protective window is permanently exposed on this module. The protective shroud is also affixed with several screws, making it more difficult to remove. However, the laser lens is still easily accessible for cleaning.In passing, this module is considerably shorter than the higher-powered modules, so if you have risers on your gantry, it might be difficult to get the original cable to reach down to the smaller laser head.Anyhow... ordered what was advertised as a cable, got a laser too. And it works beautifully. This will be a nice backup laser head to use when engraving fine detail.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve been looking at laser printers for several years and finally decided on this one.It’s decently powerful at 10w. Not the highest wattage available, but also not the lowest. It’s perfect for a beginner like myself.It took me a long while to put it together because the provided leaflet directions aren’t very good…plus, the text is tiny and I couldn’t see it so I put it together via tips provided on the video in the description/and photos of the unit. —It’s actually very simple to put together, but there needs to be better written/illustrated directions for those of us “first timers”who need directions/help.It seems very well made—all wires appear to be wrapped safely, laser seems safe with bottom cover, it has an emergency OFF button, along with keylock…and comes with appropriate assembly tools and dark eye protecting glasses.It comes with a micro disk. I’m not sure if there is information on this or not. My Mac said unreadable so I don’t use this.I connected it directly to my Mac. I’d hoped it would be Bluetooth, but it only connected via a wired USB-C connection. I’m thinking that backing up print file on micro disk would allow it to print with no computer connection, but I didn’t try this so I don’t know.One thing that I instantly noticed was that I need an air filter or something. The fumes are pretty strong in my office :( so I’ll be working on this issue next.I use Lightburn software/LaserGRBL software only works with PC’s and I’m on a Mac so my only choice is Lightburn. Lightburn is an excellent program and it allows me to upload my vector images from Adobe Illustrator which is great. It costs $120 after 30 day free trial…this is not great. :(Overall, I think it’s a quality laser cutter/engraver and perfect for a beginner. I really like it. Attached photo is my first try… so much fun!!!😬

With the purchase of this laser engraver, I've been able to advance my pastime significantly. With the fine intricacies in my designs, the air assist function truly helps to keep the cutting area clean. I've used it on a variety of surfaces, including stainless steel and wood, and the outcomes are consistently exact and clean. It was easy to set up, and I find that the light beam may be adjusted to be very helpful for various materials. I've been able to customize presents and even begin selling some of my handmade goods because to it. My handicraft is now more profitable and pleasant thanks to this machine.
