This little sander works great. I bought it because I wanted the ability to go to the work without using a long extension cord or having to bring the work to the shop. I chose Greenworks because I have had good success with their cordless tools. I have many items from regular power tools (drill, impact driver, etc) and outdoor tools (hedge trimmer, pole saw [with hedge trimmer attachment], string trimmer, blower/vac, and their 80v pro 21" lawn mower).The sanding pads stick to the Velcro like surface and did not give me any trouble. The sanding pads clung to it and never once ruffled up. I would prefer a single on/off switch because I have a tendency to keep my finger on the on button after starting it instead of moving it to the off button. But that's just me.The only reason I didn't give this five stars is the battery gets in the way of the handle when holding it with two hands. You can see this from one of the photos shown for the product. I can hold it just fine but lose that bit extra from not being able to wrap my fingers around the handle. For the most part, their one-size-fits-all (well, one for each voltage [24v, 40v, 80v]) battery approach works great. It just is a bit over-sized for this tool.

I agree with other reviewers that it is not as powerful compared to corded models. In addition a 2amp battery is probably not going to last more than 10 min especially for jobs requiring considerable pressure on the machine. BUT this sander is incredibly convenient. I find the handling, weight, noise levels, ease of use and the amount of power is more than adequate for the majority of my DIY projects. I am more than happy with my purchase.

All the extra parts were missing. Just the sander was in the box. Now I can not use it.

This is a good affordable option for finish sanding.

Actually works removing old stain from a deck

Router works great. Would give the router Itself a 5* for small trim projects. Not for big stuff. Pretty powerful. The bracket for edge trimming sucks big time. Still not sure how it goes together and functions as shown in the directions. That's why a 4*

I bought this sander because it is a brushless sander with dust bag since I already have the Greenworks 24V batteries. Terrible mistake. Tjhis sander is poorly designed. The 4AH battery (1.5 lb) is heavy and attached to the back, making the sander tippy at the back. One has to take quite a bit of effort to hold the sander over the intended holding area when working with it to keep it balanced over the sanding platform. If one holds the sander towards the back, the weight will not be distributed evenly over the sanding platform. I regret buying such a poorly designed sander, but didn't bother to return it due to the hassle. It's much worse than my 10 years old corded finishing sander. There are better ones available on the market

Was advised by customer service that this product could use 29692 battery. They were wrong. Had to return product, caused unnecessary delay in my project. Going with Black and Decker cordless, the multi-use battery is standard to many of their products. I find there are too many batteries with Greenworks.

Received it today and when I opened the box the battery was missing. It's useless to me without a battery. Will be returning it.
