Every complaint about burnt-on, stained or discolored cookware comes from people uninformed or unwilling to evoke the soak! After cooking,while you enjoy your meal...fill your SS pot/pan with HOT water and dish soap. After dinner your pots will come clean with a quick nylon scrub pad. Follow with above cleaning instructions. Eat well/be well gOg **Q: Is it okay to use high heat to boil water for tea? Or will it warp eventually?** A: This pot is heavy and well made. This is a very well-made tri-ply stainless steel, which I expect to last many many years if not a lifetime. Perfect size to boil between 1 to probably a maximum 6 eggs at a time. Or to heat up 1 to 2 bowls of soup. I also like that there are no rivets on the inside, making it very easy to clean. Heats well and evenly.
