Loved it
Worked well and sticks very good. Wear gloves when applying as it will leave residue

As good as the brand name stuff but a fraction of the price
Don't waste your time or money on expensive brand name sealant, this is the exact same stuff and works just the same. I recently replaced the outer plastic lenses on my 20 year old car headlights and used this to reseal it. Very easy to work with; you apply it to the headlight housing then insert the lens, then bake in the oven (depends on the specific headlights, but for my car it was 200 degrees F for 10 minutes) which softens the butyl, then simply press the lens into place. It seals extremely well, zero leaks through a few rainstorms already.

It works
I would rather have a much thinner Butyl for auto door panel vapor barrier. Hard to find thinner material, so I used this and it worked well sticking to the metal door and plastic barrier. It was rather thick and I can't fault them for this. It worked and did well so, 4-stars.

Did the job, and no more leaking!
There are a couple things to understand with these butyl rubber ropes and that is that they are very temperamental with temperatures (pun intended). I saw reviews stating that it will not stick and it will not work. This will most definitely happen if you try to apply this in a cold weather environment. Make sure you are installing this warm enough to get it sticky (think of it as chewing gum) and you will get awesome results every time. Similarly, good luck if you try to apply with 100+ F temps as it will be too malleable and handling becomes more difficult.I installed it in 30-40 weather and in order to make it work, I placed it in the kitchen oven after I had pulled a meal. The warmth of the oven after turning it off was more than enough to get it soft and sticky. I had a helper with a heat gun just going over it as I was applying it to the window to keep it warm and ready to mount on the truck. Once installed and everything was torqued, I left it overnight and tested with water the next morning. It worked flawlessly.
