Love the product but the packaging needs to be improved.
I lost half the oil in transit. I purchased to body oils which are inexpensive. I lost half the product in both. I would think the company would send replacements.

The scent is manly, and it hydrates
Be very careful with this bottle. It is glass, and it will break.I'm not very fond of the scent because it is more manly. The oil absorbed quickly but left a residue on my skin that I didn’t like. However, the next time I used it, I applied it IMMEDIATELY after I showered when my skin was still damp, and it absorbed and left no residue. It does soothe & soften my skin. As far as using this every day, I will not, but will use it when my skin needs extra soothing and softening.EXPIRATION DATE: NONE!I always check for an expiration date before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. This particular product does not have one, then I do not keep it longer than 12 - 18 months after opening. This body oil is exactly as advertised, and works well. It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives exceptional results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

Ineffective
I use body oil after showering to moisturize, prevent dryness, and smell nice. This product was not very moisturizing, and the smell is meh. Bummer, considering the price!

Soothes, Calms and Softens-I Prefer This Over Body Lotion
I had a few reasons for wanting to try Fount Society's body oil, the first being my dry, sensitive skin. My skin is constantly irritated and now that winter is upon us it'll only get worse. I'm used to slathering body lotion all over to stay moisturized and was curious to see a body oil would compare. The other reason I wanted to try this is the blue tansy ingredient. Tried a facial cream last year containing blue tansy for the first time and was so impressed what it does for my facial skin, I couldn't wait to see what it does for the rest of my body. The oil comes in a heavy bottle and dispenses easily from a pump. I went a bit overboard initially and felt as though I drenched myself in baby oil. I had to hop in the shower, re-wash and try again. lol. Its not necessary to use a lot. A small amount will go a long way, is easy to apply and as long as too much isn't used, absorption is pretty fast. Doesn't leave a greasy look/feel behind. Skin is immediately softened and hydrated and stays that way for a long, long time. But its also doing a fantastic job of soothing and calming the itchy red eczema patches that are increasing at the temps outside decrease daily.I prefer to use the oil after bathing in the evening. The oil does have a scent; blue tansy. I will say I initially didn't care much for it but I actually find it pleasant now. It pretty much fades by the time absorption is completed.I prefer using this over body lotion. I use less and it works better with far more positive results. And thanks to those results and the fact not much oil needs to be used each time, the price is reasonable.

Smells like Doublemint gum
I typically like body oils, but I'm not sure about this one. Sometimes my legs get so dry I can write on them with my fingernail. Yuck. I thought this oil might be really nice as we're approaching dry winter months. It does take away that "ability" to write on my skin, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling nourished. It's a bit hard to explain, but my skin still feels dry even though it apparently isn't. On my hands, it seems to hydrate the skin without plumping it at all, so my skin still doesn't look or feel as good as it does with other oils and creams. This smells, to me, very similar to Wrigley's Doublemint gum. For those that aren't familiar, it's sort of a sweet spearmint-like fragrance, I think. The bottle is a nice, heavy glass bottle. The product photos make it look fairly white, but it's actually somewhere between a light teal and a light dusty blue. I'm not sure I'll continue using this as I'd prefer to use one of the other body oils that I have that I feel nourishes better. This may be better for someone that doesn't naturally have dry skin. For the price, I expected this to be much better.

Great oil!
Body oil is a great way to moisturize your skin since its mostly contains oils from plants and not full of synthetic stuff. The top 3 ingredients in this is safflower oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, and linseed oil so there is a chemical ingredient in this but it says its derived from coconuts. This oil does have a blueish green color to it and is rather watery in consistency. It does have a light oil feel on the skin, and it mostly absorbs into your skin. You can still feel it on your skin, but it doesn't feel oily or leave any grease on your clothes or other surfaces. This oil came in a heavy ceramic like glass bottle, but its was in a sturdy box that kept it safe from getting damaged. The cardboard liner is dark on one side so it seemed like some of the product leaked. But it still seems mostly full so I don't think I lost much. This oil does feel nourishing, and you can layer on more on areas that feel more dry. I do like its forest like scent. It is a bit pricey, but the bottle is huge so it should last me the whole autumn and winter seasons that I need this for!

Awful customer service
I bought a body oil and included shipping protection. I received it half empty as it had been leaking in the package. I contacted fount society and was told a replacement would be sent and to email photos. I emailed the requested photos two weeks ago. No one will respond to any correspondence from me and I never received a replacement. This was a gift for someone else and I can no longer give it to them.
