I misplace/lose electronics cables as often as I lose a sock in the dryer. In this instance I misplaced the power/data transfer cable to my Vantec portable Blu-ray DVD player. I recalled the business end of the DVD cable appeared to match a removable cable to my WD Passport portable SSD. I tried using it on the DVD player and, son-of-a-gun, it worked! I immediately ordered this cable and all was good in the world again. There was absolutely no difference in appearance, functionality, length or quality. I was very happy with the price too.
