Simple to use, great results
We used to have a multicooker, but I never used it because I found the numerous functions to be overwhelming. I had previously purchased the Our Place air fryer combo oven as a gift (which was very well received!) and decided to give the Dream Cooker to myself. To be honest, one reason why I chose this over other brands is its aesthetics. It is really attractive, and I am not shy about displaying it on my countertop like I am with some of my other appliances. Aesthetics aside, I am super-happy with its functionality. So far I have used it twice. The first time was to pressure cook a bone-in, skin-on eight-pound turkey breast. After a quick Google search to figure out the right settings and timing, I prepped it with a dry rub and seared it with the searing function, which gave the skin a nice bronzed tone. I then pressure-cooked it for 48 minutes, with a couple cups of chicken broth added. The result: tender, flavorful, fall-off-the-bone white meat. Not dry at all! I strained the liquids, cooled them in the fridge overnight, strained off the fat, and got a very flavorful, gelatinish turkey stock that I have since used to make soup and gravy. We are still enjoying the fruits of this very easy to make, economical protein in a variety of dishes including soup, salad, and casseroles. I next tried making a pot of pinto beans. After another quick Google search, I chopped and sauteed some aromatics on the saute function, then added the dried beans at a 3-to-1 ratio of three cups of water per cup of dried, unsoaked beans. I pressure cooked for one hour. The outcome: perfection. The beans were so tender and flavorful. It would have taken triple the time to cook these on the stovetop. The Dream Cooker is also super-easy to clean. Just remove the metal insert to wash, and wash the inside of the lid. I only got a few little drops along the rim of the cooker, which were pretty easy to wipe off with a paper towel. My motivation for getting myself the Dream Cooker is to eat healthier, including a variety of legume and whole grain dishes. I love beans and grains, but I don't cook them as often as I'd like because of the time involved. The Dream Cooker is changing the game for me. I am pretty stoked about my initial experiences with the Dream Cooker and anticipate it wll prove to be my most-used countertop appliance. If you are looking for an easy-on-the-eye multi-cooker that is easy to learn and saves you time, go for the Our Place Dream Cooker.

My Dream cooker
Worth the wait ,beautiful, simple, and actually makes cooking enjoyable I’ve been wanting the Our Place Dream Cooker for a long time, and now that I finally have it, I can honestly say it was worth the wait. First of all, it’s absolutely beautiful — it looks so elegant on my counter and doesn’t feel like one of those bulky appliances you want to hide away. Using it is incredibly easy. The controls are simple, intuitive, and stress-free, which I really appreciate. It cooks evenly, keeps food warm without drying it out, and makes meals feel effortless. I’ve used it for soups, stews, and comfort meals, and everything has come out flavorful and perfectly cooked. What I love most is how calm and intentional it makes cooking feel. It’s not loud, complicated, or overwhelming it just does what it’s supposed to do, and does it well. If you’ve been debating whether it’s worth it, I’d say yes. This is one of those appliances you’ll actually use and enjoy, not regret buying.

😍 Amazing Cooker!!
Amazing cooker. I've used pressure cookers & canners from 1920s to present; on wood stoves to complex electric versions. I love this pressure cooker/slow cooker. This cooker does it all! It sautees/browns, slow cooks, keeps warm and the pressure setting is wonderful! It builds pressure faster than any other I've used. It has a wonderful safety & functional feature at the end of a pressure program that automatucally releases the pressure by sounding an alert, releasing a small burst of steam & repeats until all pressure is released & unit goes into an 8-hour warm cycle. Also, the manual pressure release is the safest & easiest I've ever seen. All you have to do is press the center of the lid knob & voila! No more standing arms length away, shielding your eyes & using the longest utensil in the kitchen to release spewing water & steam without sustaining burns. Hooray! The cooker is attractive, easy to clean & does not get hot on the bottom. We have quartz countertops and I used a silicone mat but checked the cooker periodically and it never got hot on the bottom so it's very safe for all countertops. It's easy to clean. We love the non-toxic ceramic coated non-stick removable pot. The gasket is easy to remove, clean & reinstall. The lid is easy to set and lock, unlike older models of pressure cookers. The pot is attractive to leave sitting out if you have space. It looks good to serve a buffet and has a setting to keep food at serving temperature. It's a dream to cook tender meat dishes. I bought a silicone rack for the bottom for corn on the cob, baked potatoes & lean roasts. We're glad we chose to give it a try, though it is a bit pricey. So far, it's worth it. Very giftable.

Super Happy with This
I've had this little jewel of a kitchen helper for just a week now...and ... I LOVE it. So very easy to use - it's simplicity is part of the charm. Versus other more complicated types of 'cookers' - this design makes it super user friendly. The other nice feature is how it looks....already I've had friends compliment it's looks on my countertop. It's sleek design and great color choices makes it super nice to have on the countertop. I especially like the versatility of it; in making soups you have the ability to sear all the vegetables; proteins prior to setting the slow-cook option - rather than having to sear in yet another pan (who wants to create MORE dirty dishes!) you are able with ease to brown meats easily with enough heat to really make this happen. The larger size is great for us - and for my friends who want a more compact version; there is the smaller size too. The workmanship appears very good - and for the price - I am getting my investment worth out of this kitchen cooker... everything so far, that I've made in this has tasted delicious. My husband even enjoys cooking with this....which makes this a double winner.

I really wanted to like this! (better than an Instant Pot), but ... no!
Many drawbacks to this "dream cooker" 1. Don't like their natural release - pot releases pressure every few seconds once pressure cooking time is reached. It beeps just before it does an auto release, but I feel it's dangerous. There isn't enough time to move away if you need to. I would hate to use this in a house with small kids. 2. The constant beeping and auto release is annoying ... I prefer InstantPot which just vents the pressure slowly somehow, or pot just loses pressure. Quietly, no auto-venting 3. For fast release, I have to hold down a button on top of the lid. I always use pot holders, but geez if someone didn't think to do that, your hands are really close to the release valve. With the Instant Pot, I I reach the release with a long handled spoon, and once the release is set, I sit back and wait. Yes, it's a lot of. hot steam all at once but the timing is perfectly under my control and I make sure the area around is safe before I start it. With the Instant Pot I also don't have to sit and hold the button, as I do with this product. A waste of my time! 3. Tries to be smart, but gets in the way. I.e., doesn't start counting warming time until all pressure is released, either manually or natural release 4. The inner pot sits too tightly in the outer container. Almost impossible to angle it up high enough to grab on both sides with oven mitts. I have to use a towel, which I'm skilled enough to do, but then I need a landing spot immediately close to this cooker as I don't like to carry a heavy pot with just a towel very far. 5. max size is 6 quarts (or it was when I bought this). I need an 8-quart option! 6. Interface is beautiful but also confusing ... For example, if it's in warm mode and I lift the pot out, it starts throwing an error. I also couldn't turn the power button off to clear the error. I had to unplug then lift out the inner pot. That's just silly. 6. My broth came out great, the chicken was tender, broth tasted good. That's more about my recipe than this device. 7. Can't wash the pressure valve as you can on the Instant Pot - doesn't seem right. 8. Lid and sealing ring are not dishwasher safe - but they are on the Instant Pot. 9. Perhaps most concerning of all - after a batch of broth, when I lifted the lid off, the sealing ring was part way falling off. Maybe that was my mistake for not seating it correctly, but the sealing ring is definitely much looser than it is on the InstantPot 10. I guess it looks pretty nice, but good looks dont' make up for potential safety issues or bad functions 11. All in all, going to get rid of this. And purchase a new Instant Pot. Sigh.

It's a cooker - that is pretty!
I love this pot! Very attractive and highly functional. Much fewer cooking options than my last cooker, but I don't mind that at all. I wish the pot inside had handles so that I could remove it from the cooker... every time I use it, is a logistics nightmare trying to figure out how to get it out of the cooker. I fear one day, I may have a serious kitchen accident. Material is high quality and the cooking speed is about what you expect for an electric cooker (nothing beats a stove top pressure cooker, of course). Value for money? I would say yes - it is no better or worse than any of the other options I have used and this one is attractive to boot!

Such a versatile cooker!
I don’t usually write long reviews, but this Our Place cooker truly deserves the praise. From the moment I started using it, I could tell this was a thoughtfully designed, high-quality product that actually makes cooking easier and more enjoyable. First, the design is beautiful. It looks modern, clean, and high-end, and I love that it sits on my counter like a statement piece rather than something I want to hide away. I constantly get compliments on it. Functionally, this cooker is incredibly versatile. I’ve used it for sautéing, boiling, simmering, steaming, reheating, and one-pot meals, and it performs perfectly every time. The heat distribution is even, food cooks consistently, and nothing burns or sticks. The nonstick surface is amazing. I barely need any oil, and cleanup is unbelievably easy. Most of the time, a quick rinse or wipe is all it takes, which saves so much time and effort after cooking. What I love most is how much this has simplified my cooking routine. I reach for it constantly because it replaces multiple pots and pans, means fewer dishes, and makes everyday meals feel effortless. It’s sturdy, well made, and you can tell it was designed for real, everyday use. Yes, it’s an investment, but it’s absolutely worth it. I would buy this again without hesitation and have already recommended it to friends and family. This cooker lives up to the hype and then some. If you’re considering it, I genuinely don’t think you’ll regret it.

Nice 4 in 1 crockpot
Impressed with this 4 in 1 - it slow cooks, sautés, pressure cooks safely and has a keep warm feature. I use this if I’m sautéing and slow cooking so I’m not using multiple cookware. Simple to use and looks nice on the counter when in use. Its stores easy under the carbonate.
