I was a bit apprehensive about buying online as sizing via this medium can be a bit 'troublesome' at times. So for the benefit of fellow bowlers I include the following information. I am 5 foot 11 inches tall and have a 46 inch chest and a 39 inch waist. I found that the extra large was a really good fit as it provide about 2 to 3 which allows freedom of movement when 'delivering' and if necessary for the addition of extra clothing on a 'normal' summers day in Scotland. It is lightweight, warm and appears to have a good zip fastening. Length wise it comes to just above the bottom line of the trouser pocket, so unobtrusive. It has two zipped pockets the inner made of the same material as the outer garment. The hood (fleece lined) is detachable via press studs and the jacket collar is high enough to prevent excessive water/wind ingress through any gap during inclement weather. While showerproof it is my intention to spray the jacket with additional proofing (just in case) . The price of the jacket is very competitive and delivery was the quickest I have ever experienced through Amazon (2 days). At this price this item is well worthy of consideration especially for those bowlers (such as I) who partake of the congenial 'hospitality' purveyed by fellow bowlers and who on occasion 'lose' or 'misplace' our outer garments. Having said that I suppose I'd better order another one !?! I hope this helps.

I bought this for myself last year and it has been much admired. I bought this one for a friend. It is unisex sizing so small fits an average sized lady. It is shower proof and cosy and warm for early and late season lawn bowls when it can be both wet and chilly.

I ordered 2 of these jackets, mine first just to see the quality & the fit, both were ok, so ordered another for my wife.The second one was made slightly better than mine, but still very Good value.The only negative was, we did not like the way they sent both with a snapped plastic coat hanger with very sharp edges insidethe jackets, we would much prefer they remove them before folding them up for postage.

The fleece looks quality and is waterproof and warm with the fleece lining, like the way the hood is detachable as well.

I am very pleased with this jacket I ordered a size up from my normal as I wanted to allow for a jacket underneath. Waterproof wise I cannot comment as it hasn't rained since I purchased it.The packaging and delivery were all excellent.

I followed other reviews and went for a size larger, normally medium went for large. This was a good move as it fits well and does not restrict movement when playing bowls. This is a well made coat and does a good job of keeping you dry and protects you from the cold and wind. Well worth the money.

I ordered this for a fellow bowler. I have one myself and it is waterproof, warm and with a hood that is actually useful when bowling on rainy days. Recommended to my friend who asked me to order one for her.

Only slight disappointment is being a 6 ft 3 in guy, I found the overall length of the jacket & the sleeves a little short, however it’s roomy& only time will tell of the durability
