3R1032001 Carburetor for Mercury 2 2.5 3.5 4 5 6 HP and for Tohatsu MFS NSF 4 5 HP Outboard Motors 3R1-03200-1 853720T25 803522T03

My Mercury 2.5 HP 4 stroke model 1F02201EK sat for a few years. Cleaned carb and reinstalled. Realized I had gas in my oil crankcase and oil blowing back out of carb. Got to where you couldn't pull cord due to hydrolocking . I assumed float needle wouldn't shut allowing gas to bypass into the motor. A couple oil changes and this new carb and it's back running like new. Starts, runs, and idles nicely. Cheaper than trying to order new float needle carb parts. Fit my model perfectly.

Bolted directly up no issues . had too adjust the fuel but that’s a given. Works great. 2004 merc 4hp 4stoke

Worked great right out of the box.

The company took what info I had and suggested a carb. When my soninlaw got it it was the wrong one for the motor he is working on. But the carb was good quality.

Engine started right up and runs great. Have about 20 hours on it and everything is good.

Did not come with replacement gaskets. Very hard to adjust or keep a steady idle. I initiated a replacement. Hoping this one is just defective. I will update in the future.

I have an outboard which had been nothing but trouble.After going through the fuel system, cleaning the OEM in carb in a dip tank and ultrasonic cleaner, the small engine shop felt there must be some obstruction in the carburetor.This was far cheaper than an OEM carb; the engine started right up with this as a replacement. A rental fleet operator recommended this, saying in his experience these last just as well.
