Outstanding Power Supply for Any Build
The Thermaltake GF1 750W modular power supply has exceeded my expectations. Itโs quiet, efficient, and installation was a breeze thanks to the fully modular cables. My PC runs stable and cool even under load, and I appreciate the zero RPM fan feature for silent operation. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable and high-quality PSU!

Much better than my previous PSUs
I bought two of these to upgrade both of my rigs. They're modular, the wires are flat and black, fans run well with the option to turn the energy saving mode on or off manually. They're pretty dang quiet and keep cool. They're no bigger than my previous PSUs which were a Thermaltake Smart 600w and a EVGA N1 750w (which lasted nearly ten years of abuse despite being so hated). The GF1 is actually considered a good option by PSU online culstists. They're gold rated and most importantly, there's a ten year warranty. How good Thermaltake is at honoring that warranty I hope to never find out. Made in Vietnam

AT THE FRONT OF THE LINE
Graphics cards that have DUAL PCIe requirements ARE VERY WELL SERVED by this power supply. Persuades electrons to make it happen. You should get this baby!

Beware: Chinese Capacitors Can Explode
Purchased the 750w Gold unit, 2/10. At this price point, these features are almost unbeatable. It clears anything else that is sub $100 out of the water, however, there is one major flaw: cheap chinese capacitors. I bought this unit in Feburary of 2024, and since then it has worked without a hiccup until yesterday when a capacitor shorted and caught on fire sending molten plastic, and the interior of the capacitor out into the rest of the power supply. This caused a small explosion inside of the power supply as the capacitor ruptured with great force. Luckily I was able to unplug it and no further damage was done. At the time of writing this, I'm still not sure if any of the rest of my components are damaged, but heres to hoping. Overall, by going with this budget unit you are taking a gamble. If it doesn't explode, it's a great unit with a lot of great features at this price point, however, if it does explode, you could potentially be out of a whole PC. The question is, is that risk worth it to you? My recommendation, if you are looking to buy this, is only buy if you cannot afford something in the $120 range, I highly recommend the Seasonic Focus GX or most Japanese capacitor power supplies in the $120-$140 dollar range. If you are really unsure, just buy one off of the PSU tierlist on cultist network. Cheers and happy holidays
