All the whey concentrate powders I’ve tried left me feeling sick and bloated after drinking them. I’m probably mildly lactose intolerant, but I know other people who say the same thing. As a side note, I recently discovered malted milk powder. If you add it to your protein shake, it makes it taste 10x better without adding a bunch of calories. Seriously. I got the Salted Caramel flavor protein, and its taste was a 4/10 (still better than any other protein powder tho). After adding a bit of malted milk powder, the taste went up to a 9/10. It adds a few calories, but it’s more nutritious than adding sugar. It also takes the taste from “tolerable” to “really good.” Seriously it goes from a 3/10 to a 9/10 taste-wise. And there’s no point in buying the protein powder if you can’t make yourself drink it.
