Funny game
Got this to play with the family instead of playing on video games! We love to try new games and board games and this one is no exception. Whilst there’s not really a lot to this game (a bowl and the word cards) it’s the execution that makes it funny to play. The 3 rounds consist of describing the word on the card without saying the word itself or the banned words on the card, then acting out the word without using your main hand, then saying the word backwards. Out of the 3 rounds, the last one is my favourite. So funny to hear the attempts at reading the words backwards! It’s very easy to pick up this game and play as there are no complicated rules (thank goodness!) so it’s easy to just decided to have a game and be up and running in a minute or two. We’ve already had many games of this and we think it’s hilarious. Also, a thought, once you’re used to the words (if you play it that much), you could always make or add your own!Overall, I’m really happy with this game. It’s fun to play, simple to learn and leads to many laughs.

A Laughter-Filled Delight for Family Game Nights
The game's unique blend of quick thinking and uproarious antics keeps everyone engaged and entertained. The 600 cards provide an endless source of laughter, act, and talk our way through each round. The instructions are straightforward, making it easy for players of all ages to jump right into the fun. The inclusion of a scoring book ensures a bit of friendly competition, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game. What makes Baffling Bowl truly special is its ability to bring family and friends together. The rounds are fast-paced, creating an energetic atmosphere that's perfect for game nights and parties. The variety of challenges keeps everyone on their toes, and the joy of watching each other fumble through gibberish and backward words is priceless. The components are well-made, and the bowl adds a tactile and interactive element to the game. Overall, Baffling Bowl is a fantastic choice for bonding with loved ones, and I can't wait to introduce it to an even wider family circle during our next gathering.

A Merged Version Of Taboo & Charades
The media could not be loaded. Ideally you will have at least 4 people to play this game to create 2 teams. Each player tears off a number of chits you select from the provided books, folds them up and places them into the Baffling Bowl. Each team takes it in turns to play a round. They nominate a team mate pull words out of the Baffling Bowl to describe or act out as many words as possible in 45 and you need to time them on your phone. The game comes with a score pad.We enjoyed the game. It certainly did raise some laughs and was simple enough to play, although we didn’t necessarily follow every rule!

Fun family game
We played this as a family of four, but I can imagine that it would be even better with more people. The paper 'cards' could have been more durable and as such there is a limit on how many times this can be played I feel. The rules are easy to understand once you get playing (like with many games) and it is great for testing recall and memory skills. There was a lot of laughter with the speaking backwards round! It's a shame that it isn't made to be more long lasting and I have marked it down a star because of that, but would still recommend it for a fun games night addition.*Price at time of review £17.99*

Not cards, word suggestion papers , plastic bowl
This is a bit long and dull if you follow the rules. The 'act hilariously, speak awkwardly, describe cleverly' bit isnt directions on the cards, it is the description of the rounds of the game which was slightly disappointing .There is a bowl and little paper booklets of words and a score book. The booklets are paper and you are supposed to pull one page off , memorise it and fold it up and put it in the bowl. Nothing is made of cardThereforeThis will lead to a lack of papers after a while as they will be worn out from folding and unfolding. The directions are 3 rounds and each round has a different way of describing/acting etc the words .I'm not 100% clear why one person must memorise words but I suppose if they are lucky enough to hear the description and it clicks with their word, they can answer it very quickly. They suggest teams and timing the play and give a score pad but no way to time. All the Words are quite good suggestions. For example Frostbite as the word and injury and cold as the banned words.Nothing rude or political, current in the media or embarrassing so all ages can play but there are too many rules for keeping it fun. This is basically charades. You do have to 'perform' so if you are one who doesn't like to be in the focus , you might want to sit this game out. They describe rounds without speaking, rounds without using your writing hand , a round where the word is read out backwards and everyone must take a guess as it.The word supply is nice but the rules sound as though they were made up after the game was made.cards with words on would have been much better to allow reusing the game infinitely.A bag instead of a bowl so the chooser cant see what they are picking up or just stacks of cards on a table in snap fashion. We massively simplified the game for our age grouping.Instead, we separated out some of the pages and popped them flat into the bowl then had one person each, pick one out ( you dont really need the bowl)Then read the word in secret and then, without using any of the words written on the page, they described the first word and we all tried to guess it.This works quite well with children of around 7 and up though you need a 'mentor' person to help with any stuck words. Its around £18 at time of writing which seems expensive.

Funny game
I was worried that this game would be a waste of time after reading the instructions, due to repeating the same cards over several rounds. However, it ended up being a fantastic party game and everybody was laughing. The different rounds are really fun and although the words are the same throughout the rounds it's still fun to try and remember what those words were from the previous round and see how your team members interpret the words on the cards. There are tons of words to choose from in the box and it would take a very long time to get through the mall, so each game is different.
